Words.

I love they way
I feel today
But now its faded
And its late at night
Im sitting here
Typing away
Trying to tell of
My daily plights

Words attack me
Barging right in
Making me run
To teach them the words
To the ones
The only ones
Who care to listen to the words
Maybe worthy
Maybe not
I hope you heard me
And I understand
If you wish to not.
So I must stop
My words are calm
The coconuts have fallen
From this Palm.

Hmm. I say this was a very interesting poem indeed. Like "therealme" said, I think it is a lovely skeleton of a poem. Its simple, which makes it beautiful among itself. Yet I think if you were to delve deeper into the feeling of a writer's frustration, you would do excellent. But, simple is quiet gorgeous, so keep your writing style that way as well.
Overall, you did great! Add some punctuation, double check spelling in the sentence its in, and you've got an excellent poem!

This poem was very interesting and I could relate to it well. Being a writer like you I feel and experience these same things. You did a good job
It could certainly do with some more editing, but... I suppose that's why we're here. Otherwise, you have a lovely skeleton of a poem and I'd like to give you some places you should look at.
The only problem I had with this poem was it's format. I strongly suggest that you cut this into smaller parts. Some of your capitalization need to be edited to. I think you should add more commas and periods. The spelling was great and I love this poem! I really really do! I'll keep this review short so yeah..Keep working and writing!I also noticed the halfway rhyming at parts and then the parts that didn't rhyme. It was a bit confusing simply because it broke some flow, making the piece a bit rougher than what it would have been.

Keep on writing! :)

Hi, Ziggy ^-^ first let me start off by saying that a lot of effort and time was put into this, so kudos ^-^ Anyhoo, I'd suggest some editing, but like Spinelli said "that's why we're here" lol and that you have a "lovely skeleton of a poem" (nicely worded Spinelli haha)

Anyhoo, I also noticed the halfway rhyming at parts and then the parts that didn't rhyme. It was a bit confusing simply because it broke some flow, making the piece a bit rougher than what it would have been. I'd suggest either sorting through and making it rhyme altogether, or rewording to dismiss the rhythmic pattern, you know?

Anyhoo, I really enjoyed reading it c: With a bit of polishing, you could really have something here. It's a lovely piece with a very original style, and I genuinely liked it. Very well done. I'd like to read more from you, too. Just do your best and keep writing ^-^

Um. Don't listen to anything GrapeNerd is saying about adding more commas and periods. Read Gertrude Stein on punctuation from her Lectures in America book and get back to me.

Sort of an individual pet peeve of mine is capitalizing words simply because they come at the beginning of a line, which you've done. But that's just me, do whatever you want. :P

So about the actual poem itself, I liked it. It could certainly do with some more editing, but... I suppose that's why we're here. Otherwise, you have a lovely skeleton of a poem and I'd like to give you some places you should look at.

I should mention you have quite a few typos around, like the first line "they" should be "the" and you forget many significant apostrophes, so just take a gander at those and you should be fine. Onward...

The third line, I think "it's" needs to be a little more direct. What I mean is, think making the reader know somehow that you're talking about the feeling you have today and how THAT'S what's faded. "But now it's faded"... It's a little ambiguous, not to mention in the next line you use "it's" again with "And it's late at night." Make it clear.

I don't know if this was your intention, but the first stanza has a rhyming scheme. With that, I suggest making the plural "plights" into a singular: "My daily plight." Still works. Still rhymes.

OK, so I'm going over the second part again, and I realize there's sort of this kind-of-rhyming-kind-of-not thing going on here and I'm a bit confused. I'm totally not one for structure, but I am kind of one for all or nothing. If you're going to sort of rhyme, there still should be a structure to it. The first part of that stanza doesn't rhyme at all, then you use "words" and "words." And then you use "not" and "not" but then you rhyme words at the end. I like the content of the poem, but if you wish to keep these words like this, I suggest breaking this stanza into more stanzas. Then you can get by with the weird scheme, or lack of one.

Hope this helps.
