Hi Roxy here!

Its a nice simple poem, but its good!
However, there are one or two little things!
I think that "Or maybe a word, near and dear to me" should be made into two sentences, it would better suit the thinking process, I think anyway!
"Scribble around like Mozart in the dark
Make your words fly like Amelia Earheart
Find your strength, and set it free
Let it sing, like a midsummer lark"
Thats my favorite paragraph! Lovely descriptions in it! But there really neednt be a comma in the last line
One last thing, I think you should join the last paragraph and the last sentence. The last sentence looks a little lost on its own!
I liked it over all though!
Ok, very good. Here are a few things:
Grammar:
"Or maybe a word, near and dear to me"
"Let it sing, like a midsummer lark"
"Bring this masterpiece into the light"
[Add periods at the end of these.]
Structure:
I feel some of the structure could be different. What do I mean? Here's an example:
I feel that you could break this up into:
"Or maybe a word,
Near and dear to me."
That's sounds about right
Now write through the night
Fix all the errors, mishaps, misspellings, [Take out misspellings, it doesn't exactly fir in my opinion]
Scribble around like Mozart in the dark
Make your words fly like Amelia Earheart [Loving this]
Find your strength, and set it free
Let it sing, like a midsummer lark
Yes! The end is near
Thanks for helping me
I have almost finished, no more to fear
Regroup this:
"One more thing I need to do
I must publish this poem
And give it to you."
Overall:
I love the imagery this poem gives off. I can see the images, so grat job on that. If you need help with anything, get in touch via PM or my Wall. Good luck and keep writing!

i like the use of varying sentance lengths. you used alot of "advanced" words something i dont see in works very often. you seem to know what you"re doing and have a very vivid imagination and make it easy for the reader to connect and see what you saw while writing this peice. i didnt see many mistakes, if i saw any at all, but dont take my word for it, im not one who notices that kind of thing alot. but all in all, this is a good peice of writing.
Hi,
Well I rather liked this poem, it was nice, sweet and brought a smile to my face, so job well done.
So you mentioned that this was your first poem you have published, have you written any more? Because I would love to read them.
Anywho, carrying on. What you have here is a good poem which has a very nice idea behind it. While it needs some work on a grammatical and structural level the ideas are there.
So the main problems I have with this poem is you use commas but not periods. For me a poet needs to decide to either use grammar, and use it all the way through, or not use it at all. This is a personal choice and people will have many different opinions and preferences on this. You need to decide on what is best for you and what you like the best.
So for example lets take the first stanza,
Let's make a poem, eh? [i like this first line, it makes the reader curious from the get go, good job]
Start with a name[i would suggest a comma here, just to break it up a bit.]
What shall it be[you need a question mark here,]
Life? Love? Objectivity?[this line is fine, I actually really like it]
Or maybe a word, near and dear to me[period should go here. You are ending a thought. Or you could put a question mark again, but it depends on what you ate trying to convey. If you are still asking the reader then put one, if you aren't a period will do fine.]
Do you get the idea? Now you can go and do it for the rest. But remember you don't have to listen to me, if you don't like to have punctuation then take it out.
Overall you have done a good job, the imagery you have used and allusions to famous artists are really good, and don't feel as if they have been put in to sound good.
Keep writing and good job, I look forward to reading more of your stuff. Oh, and welcome to YWS.

Hey! Wow I loved this poem a lot! I think the idea behind the poem was very creative and it made me smile the whole way through.
I love the visuals in the third stanza (paragraph?) I don't know what it's called in poetry but I liked it. Oh I see your a new member here too so I guess I'll take this chance to welcome you also... Hi!
I loved the ending the best because it made me smile and it tied everything together very nicely. I hope you continue to write poetry or even dive into novels or short stories. Either way I look forward to reading more works by you. Sorry if I didn't have much to say in terms of constructive criticism and what you can change, I will leave up to the poetry experts. Don't be afraid to message me to let me know if you have posted a new work that you would like me to review.
Sorry if this review was a little short and not exactly helpful in how you should grow and change as a writer but trust me, if you ever have any novels you want me to review, I'll be able to help out a lot more.
Hope this helped!
I really hope to make more poetry!
This poem is great. It really takes talent to write poetry, seriously. You made good connections, people like you are people i like to follow. But I do have one disappointment, You don't have other work that i can read write now! Just kidding, keep up the good work! 5 stars.
Thanks!
