This is so funny. I guess it's supposed to be humourous right. It made me chuckle but alas there's not much advice for critical construction that I could give. It's good to go against the flow though, with the 'It's so sad about the sad books being popular' and this upbeat poem
I loved this poem it was really fun to read and also it was very simple which made it way more enjoyable! The randomness of it was there but then I could also see how it wasn't random, it was all stuff you had in your pocket
Great job! I wish there were more stanzas I enjoyed it so much!

Sorry I couldn't respond right away b/c I was at a debate tournament.
Thanks for the reviews!
Jo, I can't see this as a poem honestly, though when many fall into traps of gimmicks and just weak word choice, I think you have a knack they lack. It reads very well, but I get the feeling this is more of a satire and sarcastic inversion of expectations...as you said, something light and funny. It just doesn't have the speaker/voice and audience that poetry has to have. Not sure where to put it, but there's a unique base...that with more meat and the right, constant tone could be quite interesting.
If you'd like, I can give a full review as it is, I'm just hesitant.
Wow. Not much I can say except that this is amazing. You're a really clever writer, this poem had a great flow to it, your wording was perfect, and it made me laugh.
Keep up the great work!

Haha, I like this. It really does lighten the mood and it's very cute and catchy. It does sound a little bit repetitive but that's just the style of the poem I suppose, so there's not much that can be done about that. It flowed well though and I liked your use of rhyming. It made me smile, and that's what you intended it to do, so it's done its job. Well done!
That was a fun read. Thanks. ^^
Thanks for the review(s)!
From the spoiler, I gather you’ve just written this to brighten someone’s day. ... And I think we can all safely say you have done exactly that.

Simple, tidy, true genius. Has that Dr. Seuss feel about it. And there’s a very nice rhythm to it, which I like. The rhythm made it all the more enjoyable.
I can’t imagine any child... in fact, any human being in existence who would not find this amusing.
Also, if you wanted more stuff, how about these?
Old stuff,
New stuff,
Borrowed, black and blue stuff
Their stuff,
My stuff,
Things-you-wanna-buy stuff
Your stuff,
Our stuff,
Fast-kickin-kapow stuff
I dunno. Not as good as yours though. You’ve chosen the right stuff to put in this poem, and it can be surely said that you’ve got the right stuff...
I love it!
Reminded me very much of Docter Suess' works. I like it!
Okay. I appreciate this, because I came on to review bad, depressing, emo, cutting, slit-wrist poems (those are easiest to review, methinks). Now, I happen to like morbid things (Laughing at SAW, watching Happy Tree Friends, listening to Brains, analyzing Joshua Hoffine pictures...all guilty. If there's something in here you don't know...um...listen to Brains.), however, this was still refreshing. I mean...I like the sun, but I still get overheated. Wait, that's a horrible example. I don't like the sun. More like...I love the snow, but I can still get frostbite. Anyway...since this wasn't a serious poem, this isn't a serious review.

Oh wow, that poem was too funny. It had a nice flow and played nice on humor. I couldn't stop laughing throughout it. I got my sister to read it and she had the same reaction. I have to ask though....what is the brown stuff?
Hey hey! I love this poem! My middle name is Jo
connection! aww how sweeeet...anyways this made me giggle and i hope to read more of your super cool and amazingly awesome poetry.
Stuff is one of my favorite words!!! This was wonderfully done, I think. It reminds me of when I wrote a poem using the word 'doth' in every line--just because 'tis an amazing word. It didn't turn out too good, but this poem is very well written! Keep writing!
Thank you all so very much!
You know what this poem reminds me of? Something by Doctor Seuss, like "One Fish, Two fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish."
I loved it! The rhyme and rhythm were good, and who doesn't love a light and funny poem every now and then? Great job!
Very catchy and up-beat. Great fun to read and made me laugh. Great work!
I love this poem! It made me smile. I love random stuff! I can't live without it, LOL.
Thank you for the nice comments.
Much appreciated!
Heheh, this poem made me giggle, as it did everyone else here as well. I agree with you, about all the depressing poetry and writing, that is. I mean, I'm all for dark stuff, especially morbid stuff (I'm probably the biggest splatterpunk fan you'll ever meet!), but even that just drags a man down after too long. Also, it's just started to become to cliche. It makes the real good stuff about the same subject less likely to be read.
Yay! Someone else on a mission to brighten up the depressing poetry section on this site.
This was quirky and fun, simple but sweet, and I really like it. Would you mind if I added it to my anthology ~*Life is Good*~? I'm kind of on a mission to find some happy poetry. The poem still stays to your credit, and it's even more likely to get a couple extra reviews. So just message me if you'd rather I didn't...
Anyway, this made me smile. Thanks for brightening up the day a little.
Keep writing,
StoryWeaver
Oh my! That poem is just too cute! I can relate to every single line of it. I actually prefer simple, funny poems like this as opposed to long, strongly worded, serious poems (although i do occasionally write some of those myself.
). Anyways, great job!
This is so cool, girl! =) It was light to read, fun to read. =) The rhythm was a bit longer at some lines, but twas all fine. =)) Good job here. =)) *likes on facebook *likes on YWS =D
This is great. I especially like it's randomness (I'm a huge random fan). My favorite rhyme is the first paragraph/stanza/thing (sorry, can't remeber what it's called, I don't do poems). I also think it's cool that all of the last lines have the dash inbetween to make it your-kinda-random-stuff (Hey, you could add that to your poem, lol). So, I really like it (I just noticed that I have parenthial words after every sentence. Wow, I'm to addicted to those things
)

I really liked this poem
I enjoyed reading it . I love how you rhymed the words since I cant exactly rhyme words correctly (:
muchas gracias!( thank you very much)
Hi I really like your poem it's like a breeze of fresh air. To be honest when I started reading the first line I didn't really like it but as continued reading the poem it actually made me laugh with all that stuff going around ... haha stuff
thank you. That was very sweet.
First of all, I want to start by saying that this poem made me smile. And not just little, barely there smile, but a full out, teeth-showing smile. I really needed that today. Thank you!
I can't find anything that was out of place, so I will just tell you what I liked. This poem had a really neat rhythm. It flowed well, with cleverly placed rhymes.
I can definitely relate to this... I always find that there are so many random things in my pockets, and I have no idea how they got there, or what they even are.
XD Definitely.
Thanks again for the mood-lift!
awww. the pleasure was all mine.

This made me smile, giggle, and thank god there are people like you in the world all at the same time!
I loved it. Love, in every sense, loved it. (redundant statement, is redundant)
Thanks for this lovely piece!
Very nice poem! It is catchy, and fun to read fast, so the sounds blend together. And very good tone. I think the ending is cute, and it stops you in your tracks. And you are right, it is uplifting, refreshing compared to the vampires and despair going around these months.
