Im still not sure what to make of this even now its in the 'other' section. Useful facts there, but its not exactly a writing piece. Im sure anyone oculd type in these facts in google and get exactly the same thing? Or is this research for some piece of writing or a poem you are writing??? And how does the poll relate to this?

I don't know what to make of this. It seems like the kind of thing that's supposed to be poignant and sound all "deep" but it doesn't appear to really mean anything. Similar to what chocoholic was saying, if there could be a common thread here that was then developed, then there might be something. But even then, I don't know. Also, please refrain from posting polls at the top of literary works, especially when they don't relate to the piece itself.
However, the bit at the end about the scorpion was interesting.
This was really random, but I like random facts so it's okay. Some of them I already knew, but some of them were new to me. There's a couple of things I'd suggest, the first being that you should put this fact:
in lower case letters. It's a bit weird to read it after seeing everything else written normally.
The other thing I would suggest is actually doing something with all these. It's one thing to find a bunch of random facts and post them, it's another to actually write something with them, or maybe a couple of things. Some of these are closely related to each other, and others are just random.

I like this--not only is it creative, but it is purposeful, and I like that purpose. However, I think you should write out "13-18 MILLION" as "13,000,000-18,000,000" instead, as it makes it consistent with your other figures (allowing for greater contrast) and carries a more powerful effect. To illustrate: what looks bigger? 1 Billion? Or 1,000,000,000? Also, you may wish to get rid of the Alpha Centurai fact, because a trillion dwarfs 13-18 million, thereby reducing the effect.
And for the World War I and world war II fact, for the same purpose I suggest writing "over 4 (or for WWII, 6) years of war, ___ many people died" or write "In World War I/II, an average of ___ died each year," given that this average is less than 13-18 million.
And I also suggest adding a fact or two about death statistics about common things associated with death or accidents--car accidents, homicide, plane accidents, cancer--just so people see how the problem of starvation trumps all of this.
