An evolution.

Visual and informational lust.

No more peering into the sky.

Lose the self through others while the web tightens.

Evolution is death and the body crumbles in the shock.

Change and quicken in the rising decay.

Decades burn into their own centuries as the minds boil and congeal.

Lights like the sun that warp eyes.

Information far too quick to remember and far too slow to satisfy.

Acting through the machine becomes second nature.

Moments through pressure.

There are no more mountains, no more trees.

Read that the ocean evaporates but only see it second hand.

My eyes are thousands floating in space.

My mouth is always next to the ears.

My reach is infinite.

And my soul is diluted.

Hullo! Aqua here to review!

The first thing I can say about this poem was that it was very contradictorial.

And, the spacings were unnecessary:

How about that? Now it looks more structured.

Now, I want to talk about the content. It was really confusing but what I gathered from it was that it was what happened in a disastrous apocalyptic future or something of the sort.

It was scary...it was deep...it was emo...and that all added up for a beautiful piece for me.

The way your imagery flowed and your descriptions...so vivid and clear...just amazing.

As a scientific person, I'd say that bit about evolution being something negative...well, true...and...false.

Evolution is the thing that helps us to adapt to our ever-changing environs. It's a gift Given by God. The bad thing is,yes...it will eventually break us until we are no more. Or, evolution will just stop completely and we'll all die anyway!

And the part about...I assume ,about the people becoming more vicious...well, they're already so vicious, is it even possible to become more evil?

And the natural destruction! Oh wow, good descriptions there and all very true!

Overall, this comes across to me as something sci-fi. I appreciate that! And I wish I would come across more of your work!
