The lilting brook whispers softly
To the mist covered terrain
“Nothing will stagnate here again
Nor will it ever be the same.”
The hills boom their rotund chords
And stand defiant against the skies
They proclaim the joyful news
To any vagabond passing by
As in a meadow, beyond the shadows
Stands a lady dressed in white
Who stands still as if oblivious
But who is feeling every sight
Before her stands her only man
Her only heart’s love struck holder
And the look within his gleaming eyes
Makes her heart all the bolder
Step follows step, slow and restrained
Trying to harness the feeling that is changing the game
Soon their unfailing chase
Places them face to face
And in that moment, they have harnessed the fates
The line of ancient steady trees
Is but the support for their shaking knees
And the nectar floating through the air
Settles and perfumes her silken hair
The gleam of the infant sun
Causes all the Celtic earth to stare
And gossip among each other
Why this love is beyond compare
A kiss A kiss a gentle kiss
In the land where they made their lover’s wish
That forever would be spent together
And only together would they soon endeavor
The brook whispers to the blowing wind
That carries the gentle white dove
“Nothing will ever be the same
Now that the pauper and prince are madly in love”

Very well done I especially liked how you added the mix of nature and tranquility into it. You spun the poem in a very different way. Amazing keep on writing
