We spend significant portions of our lives relaying information, telling others about things that have happened, or things that could. Telling stories. We tell stories about anything; from the delicate touch of a kiss on our lips to the intangible ravages time can have on our hearts. We love to listen, as much as tell. Otherwise we wouldn’t all be here.
We have chosen to surround ourselves with like-minded individuals in the hope that we can absorb as many of these tales as possible, losing sleep just to reach the end of a thread someone else has masterfully woven in front of us. This should be a port of call for anyone wanting to feed their mind, where powerful narratives can be found in abundance. It is a place where people are met who will leave a lasting impression.
It is a place where we hope to read stories that will stay with us forever.

Very true, Meighan. Very true.
Its why some of us have stayed here so long. I've been on the site since 2008, and even when I had tried to leave, I always came back. Its a site whereas we can showcase our own skills and yet, when it comes down to it, we learn so much more than we could have on our own. I sure have. I've learned ridiculous amounts because of these people, and I'm proud to call myself a YWSer.
But I will say, if this wasn't so beautifully worded, you should probably have made it a blog post. Its so... for YWS and its definitely your own voice that I have a hard time taking this as literature.
Even still, you put across something we all feel quite eloquently so I really have no qualms against this. Good for you, kid!
