I Believe... Do You?

PreviousNext

I believe in love. I believe in hope. I believe in beauty from the heart's point of view, not the eyes. I believe in expression of the soul, no matter what anyone says. I believe that someone commits a felony of sorts, they need help, not punishment. I believe in treating people as humans, not labeled animals.

If you knew who and what I really am, would you still accept me, would you still think fondly of me?

I believe in staying true to who you are. I believe in happiness from simple things. I believe that anyone can do good, if only you try. I believe that one person can fill your life with perfection, but one person can also bring it all coming down. I believe in taking steps to a better world.

If you could change the world, would you have the guts to do it?

I believe the stars can steal your breath. I believe inspiration comes from anything and everything. I believe that every success is a failure, and vice versa. I believe in wishes. I believe in fate. I believe in flying.

If love gave you wings, would you always want to fly?

I believe in everything. I believe in nothingness. I believe in sunshine, content, and completion. I believe in tears, depression, and total loss. I believe everything has a reason, even if you don't know what it is. I believe in you.

If you were me, and I were you, would that make us understand?

So beautiufl and simple yet so deep. I felt a deep sense of beautiful seriosness fall over me when I read it at the truth in this.

This piece is simply beauty transformed to words. I honestly loved reading it.
The mood was really sad, but at the same time it gave you the feeling of knowing that sadness will never get you down, but simply make the ground you stand on even more solid.

If love gave you wings, would you always want to fly?

This was really amazing. You put words to how the good parts of life aren't the only parts worth appreciating, even though they seem like all you want.

The simplicity in your writing made this piece even better. I like how it's all written in order, every word seemed to deliberately be at the right place, making it all into sentences of perfection.

Hey,

This was a gorgeous read. I literally, have nothing to critique. which is a first for me. Just a tinnnnnny suggestion, make this longer and put it in Romantic Short Stories. It fits better. Great work! *likes*

I really loved what you wrote. I believe in many of those and it's nice to see that others do too.

If love gave you wings, would you always want to fly?

This really stuck out to me. I love this line.

I liked this, it was an interesting read. Quite impressive that you could your thoughts into sentences and then into a piece like this but on the other side you used 'I believe' a lot in this piece and I know it's meant to drive home the conviction but the repetition got a bit annoying.

If you were me, and I were you, would that make us understand?
I love this. I've often wondered about this, and I'm happy to know I'm not the one.

Hope this helped,

Anger :D

I like this, it is good. And half of the stuff on there, or the majority, I believe in, too. I think about some of those things constantly and this basically puts what I think into, well, words. I don't think these things all of the time most of the time my mind is a winding labyrinth of thoughts. And this is, too. But in words, get it. I really like it, keep writing and I will keep reading.
