I waited fifteen minutes for you to say something
I waited there looking for the answer
But what I got wasn't what I wanted
I wanted the words I do
But you fell down to your knees to say I'm sorry and I just didn't understand
I couldn't figure out why
I felt hurt looking at the ring on your finger that I had put on you
I looked at the ring you held in your hand that was not on me
I looked down upon you trying to find words to say to you
But the words didn't come
The tears came instead
I couldn't stand there at the altar bowing my head
I looked up and ran out instead.
The words "I love you."
Did they mean anything when you said them
I know I meant them all the way
But that day at the altar made me think a different way.
And I still don't understand why you fell silent
The tears streaming out of your eyes when you said, "I'm sorry"
What did you even do wrong that day?
I knew something was up when you fell silent that night
I didn't think I was making a mistake
But after that day at the altar
I was thinking a whole different way
Why didn't I see the signs of betrayal?
That night you fell silent was my hint to not stay
But I stayed and at the altar that day
Yes, it was my worst mistake

Okay. This was not at all what I expected after reading the description and I have to tell you I was disappointed but then it happens all the time.
This doesn't look like a poem but more like the random spilling of ideas at one place. Now, I'll have to tell you that my last poem uploaded was kind of like this so I can give you some ideas about it. It's looking more like a prose with line breaks in random places than an organised poem and that is the most curable ailment. So I'll tell you what I'd do.
Sit with this piece of work again and keeping this as a guideline or more like an idea diary attempt the poem again and I assure you, you'll get better results. Keep doing that until you are satisfied because you have to keep in mind one thing that good poems are not meant to be written over a span of fifteen minutes on a whim. So if your attempt is like that, you'll have to work harder.
I like the idea here but the execution was very poor and the thing with this type of poems are that they've been written already so your theme has a very low chance that its being written for the first time. So its a bit difficult to keep the reader engrossed but what you lose in that you have to make it up by your writing style.
Try again or start afresh but keep writing. That's the main thing. Sugar is sweeter after eating a chili. So go for it. Hit me if you have any further doubts.
I am sorry if my review will be somewhat offensive, as I tend to give one with full honesty.

Based on the description of the poem that I have read, it really seemed to be a piece with interesting idea. In fact, it was the description that made me read this poem, and I checked its title with a flash of time.
About the content of the poem, I had several problems with it. One, the content turned out to be cliche, and it ruined my reading mood slightly. Poem, or any kind of piece, on that matter, was common on portraying story about the bride being left by the bridegroom during the wedding day, to the point where the redundancy of the idea became boring to read. However, I kept reading with the hope that while the content was cliche, the way of its delivering was not. Eventually, my hoped was crushed, since I read how you lied down the sentences one by one, and the words one by one. It was an emotional speech, but it used the daily format of conversational speech. Not only it was common, it was used to deliver a cliche content. Lastly, there were some grammatical errors in it but it did not ruin it.
To sum it up, I wish you can create a new, or less cliche content, which could reflect the theme you intend to focus on. Also, I am hoping you can improve on how you deliver the emotional speech - make it vaguer, make it full with metaphors, etc. etc. That is all.
