I thought this was amazing. I understand what you mean, execpt my parents were never married, I was kind of what happens when I condom breaks and the woman forgets to take birth control that day. When I lived in Botswana with my mom, I always felt alone, and how your story discribes the protagonist. I also love the hidden message in the poem, and how you make it very clear what the message is.
Thank you for the reviews, guys. Really nice and helpful
I like how you did the red. It was very unique. I thought this would be a sappy cliche love poem when I first saw the title. I'm glad it wasn't. Your word choices are awesome. Keep on rhyming!
I really like this! My parents were divorced when i was to young to really feel anything. But they got Remarried and My dad and step mom almost got a divorce a year ago and i was stuck in the middle of it. So this really spoke to me, My parents worked it out so that was my Light.

I like the red words, they emphasize the poem well. And your vocabulary is awesome lol. I'm sure this poem will speak to a lot of people, because this goes on a lot! So well done on this, and keep writing because your amazing!
Hi!
I have one suggestion! I think everyone would read the red first, I know i did. And it summed everything up. I didn't feel that it justifyed the rest of the poem reading. I think the red should be removed but the format be left the same, and it would help the poem loads!
keep writing and ask me anything!
