Here's another comedic poem that takes a nice subject and twists it until it makes absolutely no sense...
The Way of the Samurai
The blade is heavy
The edge is sharp
A goldfish is really
A mutant carp
The chain mail protects
Against his enemies
Clownfish live
In Anemones
He throws the sword forward
Piercing the heart
My grandmother once said,
“Be Smart. Don’t Fart.”
He goes to pray
At the temple
Liz’s face
Is covered in pimples
He tests endurance
Under a waterfall
I rented a truck
From the company U-Haul
An assassin comes
And removes his soul
Miners go to caves
To dig up coal

First off, I LOVE Japan. The culture just interests me so much. This work cuptures that culture of ancient Japan and brings it to life! Wonderful job, I really enjoyed reading it!
