(Verse 1)
Why should we put our faith in hypocrisy?
If they don't practice what they preach,
then this isn't the truth we seek.
Why do some need an almighty being to lean against?
If humans weren't so independent then this would make some sense.
Why can't parents of faith decide?
It's hard to see the light in a world where science and faith collide.
The Book preaches love, peace and immortality,
but its hard to be convinced when I see,
a messenger of God preaching out of a Bentley.
For angels to exist there must be evil and crime,
that dimension below us is just another sign.
Yet the parishes turn their heads,
when science proves a point.
Passed down knowledge can easily be misread;
does this not disappoint?
Our leather pouches,
robbed of their riches, when we enter the steps of a holy house,
and why do I need the words of God to prove my love for my spouse?

Really the approach of a practical person shown in your poem. You really are pointing out to the fact that we should stand up against all the contradicting nonsense going on in the world .

The general flow of the poem was amazing and very understandable.

Great work there.

Ok I'm having a serious sense of AWESOMENESS.
Haha ok that sounded like such a teenage girl thing to say...
But what else did you expect?
The only thing that doesn't fit, is
"Why can't parents of faith decide?"
It kind of seems like it's having it's own little party over there, you know?
Like it doesn't exactly fit in with the long lines and very big words.
But I actually wouldn't change it.
It gives it character, like little differences that make pretty faces stand out.
Anyway, I love this.
It's rebellious, harsh, truthful...
It's plain amazing.
So please, for the love of all good things,
KEEP WRITING!

thanks youu =)

I feel like it will be absolute hotdog water, but oh well. It's just a draft.
