Where are my memories?

Where did all those happy times go?
Are they lost upon a shelf?
Or are they hiding in a dusty corner
I wish I could find them.
Relive them one more time...
Chorus.
Where are the times when I five
swinging happiley on my old apple tree
waiting for my nice hot tea
oh where has my childhood gone?
I want it back please don't go.
V1
I wish I had pictures
I wish I had diarys
I want to be transported back to when I was five.
When I felt so alive.
The time when I was five.
Chorus
V3
so as I sit here morning my lost childhood
I relise something wonderfull
I still have my memories with me where ever I go
chorus
Where are the times when I five
swinging happiley on my old apple tree
waiting for my nice hot tea
there here in my heart where they will always be for the rest of my life
oh where has my childhood gone?
I want it back please don't go.
But it's right here in my heart where it will be forever and always
have them safe in here
where they will stay forever.

Hi I've just read your lyrics and they're very good. I think with a bit of work it could be brilliant. At the moment it seems slightly more like a poem. Also don't rhym for the sake of it.
swinging happily on my old apple tree
waiting for my nice hot tea.
I think the nice hot tea line didn't sound quite right.
Other than this I really liked it and I look forward to your next piece!
Keep writing, Moonstar x

I love this. Its simple and tells a story.
The chorus--Where are the times when I five
swinging happiley on my old apple tree
waiting for my nice hot tea
oh where has my childhood gone?
I want it back please don't go.

chorus is great. Happily has no E. And I think the first line should be "where are the times when I was five"

the song seems likable and relatable. The only problem I found with it is your age. You're only 14! When I was out of 8th grade and going into high school, I had the time of my LIFE that summer! like how youre writing about in the chorus. I'm 17! and I'm missing my days when I was 14 and younger.
Its just a little depressing knowing that the writer is only 14 and writing about the times when you were happier and younger. Be happy now.

Great song. i love it. It could be a semi-country song
