Okay, I know, but it's hard sometimes,
And it's a specialty of mine to keep things bottled up inside,
Of this mind, in my soul, and I know, okay?
I know, yes, I know, it could very well be my greatest devastation,
The worst combination of feelings in my heart's deepest hole,
That I dug with my own two hands and begged the angels to stop the demons,
Just to make them leave me alone.
But they keep on fighting in this chest I got breathing, beating, bleeding,
And they call it their home,
And I'm the one the one that they want, the one that they haunt,
And they just keep on fuckin' tauntin' me, tryin' to make me go,
Back to the depths of Hell, but I can't go.
Will I go with you? No.
Just fuckin' leave me alone.
I just wanna go home, but where is home for me now?
Will I go back, and how?
The devil has caught up, and he won't let go of me now.

Thank you very much for your comment. Don't worry, it's 1:30 here, haha. And, no, it was not a spacing mistake, it is isolated purposely.
Very engaging as it continually progressed. The verse about bottling things up inside is well-situated and related to many people and then it continues into many different emotions that people can understand and feel more personalized. The flow of the entire piece is like a song, which is great as it easily moves along in your head or even off the tongue. The final line being isolated from the rest also brought more depth and emotion--unless that was a spacing mistake, lol. A good mistake!

Sorry if my review doesn't make sense...It's 2:23 A.M. here, but I wanted to comment on this poem.
