A violin

I don't know why I wrote this one, I was a bit bored and I was running out of ideas so, hope you enjoy it.

A violin

A violin is not an instrument that you just play.
It is not a waste of as many has said.
It is an instrument of beauty.
It is the instrument of joy.

The strings wait impatiently,
as the bow makes ready,
to play the sound of peace.
Slowly and gently it touches

The string is relieved.
The bow gently moves up
the noise makes him feel,
emotional,

That this instrument can play,
what no other instrument can play.
The screeching sound,
the beautiful sound.

Why so beautiful?
Know one knows,
But the timing…
and the sound.

It is a gentle high note
Nothing is wrong.
It goes lower and lower
Great.

A violin is not a waste of time,
nor is it a difficult instrument
There is no such thing as a difficult instrument.
All you need to do,
is practice.

There is nothing special happening here; it appears only as a description of a violin, and I think that's all it was intended to be. While some poetry can hold itself up solely on description, there must be other poetic elements as well, of which here, there are none, which ultimately leave the reader feeling as hollow and empty as the middle of a violin.

PM me if you have any questions,

Uh, it was Ok?

Your meaning was almost too obviously told, you know? Your last stanza made this too clear. It has no deeper meaning to it beyond that, and you don't use a whole lot of poetic devices. I think you should try to make this more poetic and "showing" rather than telling. Try to have a deeper meaning, too, because in my opinion, this is too simple to be interesting.

Best of luck!

Hmm.. I liked this to be honest. It was.. I'm not sure of the word... Dainty? Quiaty? I haven't a clue what word it is - I am a goose - but all I know is, it was a different thing to what I would normally read, and I enjoyed it.

Not too keen on the repetition of the word "It" in the first verse/stanza? I don't really know the word there either, but I have to say, this was a well thought out concept, I though, although some people may think the referral to musical instruments in poems would be a cliche and very unoriginal, but I think you used this to your advantage by making it your own.

Good.

Just a few errors.
"Know one" should be "No one."

Well, a gallant effort. [takes hat off]
