The Stalker After Me - Parody

by Snoink

This is a parody of Michelle Branch's "Everywhere”, written by my wonderful sister.

"The Stalker After Me"

When I turn around, man I can see ya
Everywhere I go your always sneaking
And when I wake up, you're not in sight
But it never stays that way, when it's night
That just ain't right.

I never know just where you are
I guess that's not you in the car
That’s been following me since I- I left my place
You've gotta be the slime of the human race

(Chorus)

'Cause you're everywhere 'round me
When I open up my eyes it's you I see
Everything you do, it makes me freak
I'm not alone
When I come home

I hope you're not a psycho-stalker
And noticed that I got off my walker
After having broken ankle surgery
Or were you the one who puuuuushed me- off- the balcony?
The balcony…

(Chorus)

Man you're everywhere 'round me
When I open up my eyes it's you I see
Everything you do, it makes me freak
I'm not alone
When I come home

Leave me alone…
Whoa, oh, oooooh, oh

And when I go outside, you try your best to hide
I guess you have the blues, 'suppose you heard the news
You're wanted by the cops, shouldntuv done those chops
To that girl named May, you cannot run away

(Expanded Chorus)

But still you're everywhere 'round me
When I open up my eyes it's you I see
Everything you do, it makes me freak
I’m not safe at home....
Damn you're everywhere 'round me
I've had enough, here meet my RPG
Blew your body into the street
My new garden gnome

You're still everywhere 'round me
They'll clean off the meat
But you won't see...

This is hilarious! I am a Michelle Branch fan... apparently no one else here is... but that doesn't keep me from enjoying this. Very creative. *thumbs up*

Why is it that whenever someone posts up an interessting parody of a song, I've never even heard of the origional song? It's happens pretty much everytime...

Regardless, I made up my own tuning for this :). And hey, I love it - especially the ending (gotta love RPG's).

Oh, come on! Michelle Branch isn't that good. This is just a catchy tune. There's no greatness about it. :P

Serves her right for disfiguring such a great song into such a great parody. It is unacceptably comical.

This song was really fun for my sister to write: it was actually rather painful to hear her crooning it through the walls at all hours of the night trying to straighten it out. :P

What's funny is someone actually started stalking her and serenading her with Spanish love songs. XD

Lol! That was kick-ass :D I thought it was to the tune of "Lover After Me", but I like "Everywhere" better. You do realise, you've totaly tainted that song for me: I won't be able to listen to it without thinking about this :P

For in everything it is no easy task to find the middle ... anyone can get angry—that is easy—or give or spend money; but to do this to the right person, to the right extent, at the right time, with the right motive, and in the right way, that is not for everyone, nor is it easy; wherefore goodness is both rare and laudable and noble.
