Better than the weather
Let me try to write a terrorist what I find he must have read.
I understand you.
I understand your visions
I understand your thoughts
I understand your missions
I understand your plots
I understand you.
I understand you do have only one thing to believe
What is good has been always what’s God’s
God’s willingness to make you do
God's desire burning in the sun
To have faith in a reason of how the unknown had begun.
For the lack of anything more
Than him you consider to be sure
That everything out there real
Is something, you might ignore.
I ask you to once only once
Overview, that’s all I need.
For nothing more, not even funds
But the words here on my sheet.
I meet you for a look in the eyes
Uphold violence for my dearest
Try to keep the anger
And stay looking into my eyes
Now let it go, feel free
Let it go, just let it be.
It is not only you and me but it’s all of us to be
The humans as part of nature, harmonized together,
There is nothing we can’t change yet
Better than the weather.

You've written a great poem Slash, but I did find something amiss. The first line "Let me try to write a terrorist what I find he must have read" seems very awkward and needs to be rephrased. The title too, needs to be reconsidered. I love how you say
"I understand your visions,
I understand your thoughts
I understand your missions
I understand your plots
I understand you"
These are very impactful lines that feel very meaningful in this context. Overall, the poem would have been better if you had improved the grammar. The ending too seems out of place, though I may be wrong since I'm no master critic. Otherwise, I loved the poem, it is very insightful and meaningful. You have a lot of potential as a poet , just work on a few points. I look forward to reading more of your works!
Hi, this is Abhipsa, just stopping here to review your work.

Well, reading your poem I felt as if English is not your first language. There are some places which need improvement, otherwise the real meanings are altered. For example in the last line
- There is nothing we can’t change yet
Better than the weather.
You mean to say that we can't change things like the weather, but the way you have represented it, it is understood that we can change the weather better than anything else.
The first line is also not clear.
Anyway apart from that I loved your thoughts and the poem too.
You have a great potential, and can do a lot better, once you improve your skills. Nobody is perfect yet so there is ample time for polishing yourself.
Keep writing. Its a pleasure to go through your work.
Hello, Slash. Welcome to YWS! It takes a lot of courage to post on your first day here.
Unfortunately, it is very difficult to understand some parts of your poem. Your phrases near the middle have a lot of verbs all mashed together and mixed up. It makes it very hard to understand.
I think that this poem is trying to understand why terrorism happens, touching on religion, but I don't really understand how the title or the titular line ties into the poem. The poem is talking to the terrorist, trying to talk him down. I think. Like I said before, some of your phrases are mixed up and since I don't really know what you want to say, I can't really help you rephrase them.
I don't know if English is your first language. If it is not, there are quite a few people on YWS that also speak English as a second language, and I'm sure they can help you. If not, you can message me later, and I can try my best to help you. Though I would have to understand more of what's going on in the poem.
I'm sorry that I couldn't be more helpful! Happy writing, and I hope you can whip this poem into shape.
Thank you very much for your insights.
