When I Play The Piano

Thank you and yes it is from an old man's point of view who's wife had die. If you watch the clip on YouTube the storyline will become more clear.

All I can say after reading this is wow. I play the piano too so I can relate to this poem in a way. Also, you described this really well and everything was playing this in my head as I was reading this. My favorite line was the last one, but the whole thing made me smile. I don't have any corrections because I think it's perfect the way it is. Great work.

A nicely put together piece. It does have some emotional elements to it. But I’m a bit confused - is the main character in this piece actually an adult whose wife has died or are they still a child? That’s what got me, but I’m sure it’s not the biggest problem out there.

It’s a good poem and does actually express the true joys of playing the piano. Good work.

I really like this. I like how you started in the present and then went back in time. Your rhyming is a bit simple in places but it doesn't sound forced at all and it flows well. I like how you convey emotion through this piece, and I can't really find anything wrong with it, but I hope telling you what I do like is still helpful! Well done.

A beautiful piece.
The imagery and structure is simplistic yet powerful aswell. It brings across an array of emotion while also bringing forward some flashes of the memories that are being recalled.
I do however, think more detail would work well with this. Just expanding it slightly.
A really well writen piece of poetry. I really loved the ending too.
