I haven't read that particular title, but I really like some of the other ones I've been reading. I haven't seen any of the TV shows either, but I'm going to have to. :)

Her writing style can be a little dry, but not so much as the ACD books. (Though I do like them as well......)

I like Tommy and Tuppence....

Somehow, I really do not like criminals. I don't know why, I just don't, and that is probably why up till recently I couldn't stand Christie. (My mother, now, is completely crazy about her).

However, I did check a few of her book out of the library, and I managed to make myself read them. The fact that there wasn't anything else to read at the moment was probably the reason why I did it, and made it through. I rather liked Poirot and Miss Marple in comparison to the Poirot-less and Miss Marple-less other novels.

Never watched \anything of it on the TV, though, either, so I really can't express my opinion here.

Haha. Poirot is so funny. With his french accent. The actors British, you know. It's all rather brilliant.

Never read any of Agatha Christie. Are they good? I prefer Doyle.

Isn't Miss Marple some crazed old bat who has to be called in everytime the police can't solve a crime?

And Poirot... ("Who's a pretty boy, then?" :smt005 )

I've read Murder On The Orient Express and the Hollow, which are both brilliant. I don't like Miss Marple though, I prefer Poirot.

The Hollow is great, I would recommend it highly if you did enjoy Hickory Dickory Dock.

I prefer to watch Poirot and Miss Marple on TV. I've only ever read one AC book and I can't remember the title, sorry.

Hearing these stories makes me realize that I never did anything with my childhood.
