I love writing
I enjoy it
We enjoy it
But why?
We sit around this site
Most of us with little motives
We chat, we post, we review
Now there's this little thing called
Featured Works upon the front page
If that wasn't there what would've changed?
Our motives
Take suffering from this
Various odes to YWS
Everything I write seems worse than the last
These Features are destroying me
Corrupting my pieces
No longer do we write for us, we write for fame.

Your comment was posted, but it wasn’t long enough to count as a review. Reviews need about four complete sentences (at least 250 characters). Try writing another review that explains your thoughts in more detail — the author will appreciate it, and you’ll earn points for it.
I like your poem. I share your thoughts on the issue of corruption. When i looked up the topic at first, i thought it was about corruption in the political system of a country, but what i read was completely different. Yeah, i agree everyone whether they admit it or not is involved, there's some sort of scramble for the top and it's only natural that you want your posting to be one of the featured article.
I think more accurate capitalization should be used in the poem. Also the last line," No longer do we write for us, we right< i think 'write' was what you meant> fame" really occurred to me as true, I think the joy of actually creating your own work or being able to form your thoughts into words should transcend any form of accolades whatsoever. The true essence of a writer is lost when he begins to post/write for fame and not for what he believes in. I loved that line.
Good Job
Nicely said. At first the title of the poem had made me think it would be about a city or a country. But now that I've read the whole thing, it made me laugh. It's a really entertaining poem. And the best part is that it's about this website. I like your way of thinking. Good.
