We are filled with the greatest joy after the greatest sadness.
Spread the news that our lord has risen,
he has defeated the grave,
we have a future with God in heaven,
we have a future because of Jesus.
He bled for us.
Died for us.
And he lived again for us.
Our sins are washed away,
the grave can't hold us now,
death is defeated.
We are filled with joy.
Spread the news that the king is alive!
The Lord has risen!

Hello there, my friend! I am a bit late for this Easter season poem, but I thought I would leave you a review. I hope you have a wonderful day! Okay, lets jump right into the review:
What I loved about this is how you can share your beliefs in such simple phrasing, but you tell you much in such a short poem. The message you share feels like something that should take a million words, but you write it in such simple phrases that anyone could read this and get a basic understanding of what you are trying to share with us. I loved how you start with mentioning great joy after great sadness, then provide us with the why and how. This is very reflective of easter and Jesus dying, but then being resurrected. The darkness, turned into light. What we assumed to be misery, actually being the greatest of all joys. Love that! And you mention this joy again throughout the poem, which I loved how you returned to that message.
I like the contrast of 'he lived for us' and 'he died for us' being so close together. It really makes me think about how bad things that we see as ending, can actually be beautiful beginnings. this poem is filled with a lot of beauty and hope.
And you finish with these bold, happy, exclamatory phrases! What a fantastic way to finish this poem! I loved it. Keep on writing, you are awesome!
Your friend,
Ellie
Hello there, I am Demi. I am here to review your work. Happy to do it anytime.
Let's jump into it.
Amazing start already. It has caught my eye and I just want to keep reading.
Yes, our Lord is here for us. This is amazing. I love how short a poem can be but with so much meaning behind it.
Woah, happy days for everyone. No one will feel down anymore. If only that was the actual case. Where everyone never had to worry about being stabbed in the back by their best friends or lied right to their face.
Lovely ending. I always love happy endings. I know not everything will end that way but this hits differently.
In conclusion, amazingly written. Loved every part of it. keep up the amazing work.
Have a lovely day/night. From Demi. <3
Thank you so much Demi!
No worries.
Hello there! I'm Orabella, here with a short review. ^^

First off, welcome to YWS! Please let me know if you have any questions or need anything. I'm always happy to help.
This is such a sweet and uplifting poem, and it's perfect to post on Easter. I really like the title too; it perfectly portrays the meaning of the poem, and it's attention grabbing! Plus, it's in the actual lines of the poem (twice!).
These are a few of my favorite lines:
They're simple, but powerful, and they really show the main message of the poem, I think. They're so hopeful and they actually make me feel better right now, because I've been stressed about something.
This is actually my favorite line. Not only is it portraying what I said before about the poem as a whole, but it also carries a lot of imagery that I think is really interesting!
Overall, this is a really uplifting poem about Christ and is the perfect Easter message to wrap up the day (at least in my timezone). I really love this poem, and I hope I'll come across it again one day and read, and just be filled with hope and light. The way you put these feelings and the message across is beautiful and was expertly done. I'd love to read more poetry by you! Hopefully you'll post more soon? Until then, have an amazing day/night, and keep writing!
If we are in the same time zone (which sounds that it at least might be close) good morning! Thank you so much for the review! I%u2019ll write some more soon!
