Yesterday was glorious,
The day that I was saved.
Locks released to open arms,
For before I was enslaved.
The lord forgave my every sin,
Washed over every wrong,
Balanced out my intuition,
Finished up my song,
Bowed my knees in innocence,
Gave way to my soul,
Rid of every obstacle
That kept me from my goal.
Wrapped in precious forgiveness,
Then set me at his glory.
And then he handed me blank pages
To restart my story.

I like this, reida. I notice your poems are always uplifting and inspiring, and this is prolly my favorite one. I love the theme of forgiveness-it's something we all need. And Who better to write about than the One, the Ultimate Forgiver?
