Nothing wrong
Don't belong
I want an injection
Prevents feeling rejection
-
Lies, lies, lies
Cries, cries, cries
Can't handle the critics
They're all too analytic
-
To feel like I'm alive
I really want to die
Needing some normality
Not accepting conformity
-
Universally unaccepted
Hatefully regretted
Past indicates performance
My mistakes enormous

This is a beautiful poem covering a somewhat dark experience.
I love the lines,
"To feel like I'm alive
I really want to die
Needing some normality
Not accepting conformity"
I have some semi-friends who are in this position, and I can tell it really weighs on them. The world does a good job of judging them for everything,
"Can't handle the critics
They're all too analytic"
Just like you said there. Their only way out is to stick themselves. That's what they think. You did a great job of conveying the light side of drug usage, but not condoning it or anything like that. Very well written!
Thank you BloodinkSeesFootage!
Hey there, Subtle here for a review. Wow, I love this poem, is so dynamic and deep. Actually, is too deep since I don't fully understand it with that dim brain of mine. But I'm in a cynical mood tonight, so I think i can understand it a bit. I noticed the grammatical mistakes in this poem, but. I have seen your previous works so I will assume this is deliberate. Besides, it only gives the poem more character.
I love your first stanza, that I can relate. The second stanza, with the repeated words empathizes the signifance of those words. The world is beating down on us....right? The third stanza, perfect! You just summed up how I feel! The ending mystified me a bit...but I still like this poems! You are such a dynamic writer about feelings.
Hope to hear more from you!

Aww thank you so much. That was a lovely review. -hugs-

I am glad you liked it. And you were very complimentary of me. -blush-
No problem! ^_^
well, i have to say although i get the spirit in which you wrote this poem, that your grammar needs some work. i have to say i make a lot of mistakes in that department too so i may not be the best person to tell you what to correct. however, there are some things i can point out to you.
sadly, you can't just write things like :
Nothing wrong
Don't belong
for example as the two sentences are grammatically incorrect so i think you can correct them to : nothing is wrong
i don't belong or
there is nothing wrong
i don't belong
i don't know. this applies to the hole poem. keep writing !
*whole poem.

The point of the piece is that it is supposed to be grammatically incorrect. Yes the rules are there, but I like to break them sometimes. XD
I think it adds character.
Maybe not? XD But ok.
Thank you for the review.
