Pain Of the Heart

She never wished for anything.
Although everything was what she got.
The looks and the brains,
the guys and money.

I always wished for everything.
And nothing was what I got.
No looks, no brains,
no guys, no money.

Going from job to job,
home to home.
Never even happy with myself,
something must be done.

Go to bed one night,
just never wake back up.
Solve all of my problems?
I guess that it will.

I took the meds,
still jealous of her
Thinking 'bout her....
Will she regret the teasing, the mocking, the bullying and more?
I knew she would.
I would make her pay.

I woke the next morning.
A hospital bed was where I laid.
She would not pay.
I would just pay now.
I had hurt only myself,
I would see life through my seat,
was bound to my wheelchair.

All my stupid fault.
I let jealousy rule.
I only felt pain.
Pain from the heart.
The worst kind of all.

i have to say that jealousy is a hard subject to tackle and i think you have something here, its a little wordy but thats not really a problem. go with what you think is right to you

I’ll paraphrase Thoreau here... Rather than love, than money, than faith, than fame, than fairness, give me truth.
