Poisoned healing

Venomous words from poisoned lips;
Running down my fingertips.
Not deep enough to touch the bone,
Deep enough to make me groan.
Why does this unbearable pain feel so good?
I know I shouldnt,
But I know I could.
What's done is done,
You can't reverse it.
Feeling all the pain,
I know it's worth it.
Scars will be covered,
By bracelets and bands,
In hopes that my friends
Will understand.
If they see,
They may not know,
What to say, or how to show.
Their feelings toward the way I deal;

This is me. It's how I heal...

StoryWeaver13 - Thanks! This poem is actually pretty personal, and not meant to be really.. "angsty emo." I geuss to someone who hasn't been through what I have would see it as such though.
322sivart Thanks for that. I meant more along the lines of wrists, not hands?..

thankks for the comments. (:

I'm not really a fan of angsty "emo" poetry, but there was something sort of sweet-sounding about this, almost soft-spoken. So...I like this more than I usually like this type of thing. It was really well-written and the only corrections I'd make are grammar-related. Watch your punctuation and you'll be in good shape.
Keep writing,

Wow. This poem is very deep and sad, and it is written very well.
I didn't know what you meant by the first couplet.
Did you mean that you were writing on your hands?
I also think that this poem belongs in "lyric poetry", but that's just me.
Otherwise, it is very good.
Keep writing!
