Whitetop, pink shoes, and blue jeans.
I can wait for my turn on the registration desk,
Counting onto the passing slots,
I had to get the name correct
Because who asks for the name on the first day, at first sight, nerves were tight, her face radiated bright, my legs backed up with fright.
At least I know her name now.
.
.
I am sure those were blue jeans.
Don’t you have too many friends,
In the search for the sight, when my eyes are not alone
They remember the stories of the place; I remember the places with you.
I think your eyes saw mine, my heart sighs, racing like a war cry or was it the other guy, maybe you never knew who am I.
At least I know her eyes now.
.
.
Pink shoes are too orthodox, I know you would always choose white.
The neck aches with every turn for your tranquilizing smile,
The eternal few seconds of my life when you sat beside me,
A year later your text professed the awkward staring boy, “a decent guy”
You never knew the admiration was a disguise, the seat next to you, the seat on your flat’s couch, the seat of my writing corner of the shared house, as I sit with your name, my poem, and our story.
At least I know her smile now.
.
.
She agreed it must have been the pink top, my delusional memory drives were right
Living with no regrets as you hustled through the stereotypes,
“I don’t know if it could be ‘we’.” I never knew you meant for life.
With texts being my only witness, won’t you stay to say the love wasn’t a lie,
My warm little heart lies in your body, helpless, senseless, emotionless, meaningless, as you leave me, identity less.
At least I know her star now.

hey hey, Ducklin here! I'm here for a review so let's get started Raichu shall we?
Actually, this isn't much of a review but more of me telling which parts I loved of your poem since I REALLY enjoyed it. The poem itself just gives me summer vibes for no reason, maybe it's romantic scenes I don't know.
The fact that after every paragraph he knew something more about the girl is a really good construction a steady one for your poem that ends it nicely. although this one seemed a little bit off for me "At least I know her eyes now." Like I don't think you know someone's eyes but just their colour or are more likely to recognize them. Sorry if I'm nitpicking haha.
But overall it was just a good poem
Keep on writing
greetings ducklin.

Thanks for your feedback! Yes you are technically right about the eye part but I kept it simple for the coherence of the ending lines
Hi I'm here for a short review
I'm sorry it took me so long I had a long week with essays
So let me get started.....
I would first say I love how this poem was so romantic. I love how it started and how it ended. It was so beautiful and this poem had made my day. Now I think I might go write one when I get done with this review.
My Favorite line was...
"You never knew the admiration was a disguise"
I absolutely that line the most.
I also love the part when you said...
"Living with no regrets as you hustled through the stereotypes"
I also loved that line!
Basically, I just loved the whole thing because if I keep going on I just keep naming line after line of which ones I loved the most because I loved the whole thing.
Keep up the good work-BrokenHeartAri
Thank you for your feedback and appreciation
