Alright, so I never read this type of poem before. I like the lyrical way of writing, and you're right. All big animals are, well, dangerous, so why single out sharks as the most vile? They even only are dangerous to you if you go into the sea. And I like the title of the poem!
One thing though, I didn't understand the last stanza. What does it mean by 'if THEY insist'? Why would sharks do that? Just wondering.

Hello there Kat here to write a review for you ! It is my honor to welcome you to Yws and be the first to review for you :D how exciting !!!

Yeah sharks are misunderstood , they are just as deadly as any animal . I just watched shark week so... But anyways I really liked this poem , though I wish there was more to it . It is kind of confusing if you don't read the description . Show or tell the readers what you want .

They and them ... Do you want the sharks or the people ? Just curious .

One last tip is flow , it's how your poem feels or sounds when read by someone else . Just make sure it never takes away from the meaning . For instance a choppy flow can take away form meaning or add to it depending on the mood that's being set and this is all determined by syllables and word placement .

The cat sat on
The

Is different than

The cat
Sat
On
The mat

If you see what I mean :3

Great job and I look forward to readin more of your work ! Remember writers are artists and words are your paint . Express yourself ~
