Hi. I liked this chapter. It's actually the first one that I read from this novel and I liked it. I thought it was really easy to read and you could understand the panic, you understand the tension. I really liked the sarcasm and the funny dialogue. I don't think the end was rushed but maybe a phew extra details would be welcomed. For example if Cody had any reaction when "Power buzzed across the silver plate". The bomb couldn't be that silent and he seemed quiet panicked at a point and then we know nothing about him. And to answer to "Why is writing so difficult" it's because you want to explain to other people what is in your imagination. In other words explain you craziness to others using paragraphs. I really liked the story and I think I will read some more of it. Have a nice day!

Hi! Vita here with a review.
This chapter is much better in terms of dragging. You've captured a bit more of the panic that comes with an intense situation. I think it was the way each of the characters was reacting differently that created a sense of chaos.
I really like your writing style, particularly the part where you say "He forgot the world and in turn, he hoped it would repay the favour and forget him." I smiled when I read that.
The only thing that confused me was the part where Cody finally started freaking out:
“Have neither of you never seen one of those explode before?” asked Maria, brushing caramel strands behind her ear from where she sat glancing between the two.

Cody turned to her from where he had been pursuing a recoiling Wenton. Befuddlement gripped the boy and his face took on a likeness of porridge, as his expression crumpled in confusion."

It makes sense that he would realize the danger that they're in, I just didn't understand why it happened just then. It seemed to happen as it dawned on him that there was a bomb, but I thought he already knew that? Did he not realize what a bomb did? I was just a bit confused as to why Maria's comment about the bomb exploding was what triggered him to panic. Wouldn't he already know that it was going to explode? It seemed like it would make more sense for him to realize the danger of the situation when someone mentioned that they could die, or something along those lines. I don't know, maybe it's just me.
Other than that one thing, This was a really good chapter. Keep writing!
