You ( The inside of you

You perfect in every way
You always wear a smile
You people say you are beautiful
You get all the guys
You get straight A's
You have perfect teeth
You have no allergies
You have the perfect dog
You have the perfect parents
But who are you on the inside
There's just a wall the blocks people from the real you the true you
You are not broken inside
You don't have the perfect life
Your parents are on the edge of divorce
You say it is all good
But you know under the fake smile and the perfect eyes
You cry inside
Hiding you feelings bye lying being that POPULAR girl
But on the inside
You where never the right child
Is what your mother said
You father always beat you
You wish you were dead
Your a gossiper a lier
You always almost cheat
You are not perfect
So way do you act that way
All I am trying to say
Is that mean friends need friends inside
So don't try to hide
Never feel up inside
Cause I now who you are inside
You will go down or either break down some day
So we know behind the lies and the smile you are really wild
So just be the true you. 8)

Girl, when I saw the title, I thought it was just poem. But I just finished it and guess what? It's much more than that. Was this based on a real person or was it just your inspiration? Anyway, keep on writing! :) Oh, and look out for those grammar mistakes! ;)

Hi preachergirl18!
I liked your poem a lot, it has a lot of emotion behind it. However, you did make a few spelling/grammar mistakes :(

You perfect in every way

I think you meant to write "You're" here, not "you".

You people say you are beautiful

I'm not sure what you're trying to say here, maybe the "You" shouldn't be there?

But who are you on the inside

I was thinking that maybe a question mark on the end of this line would make it flow better.

the real you the true you

A comma would make this part a whole lot better - "the real you, the true you" gives the reader a place to pause, and emphasises the "true" bit.

You are not broken inside / You don't have the perfect life

I think that you meant to write "you are broken inside" here, otherwise this doesn't make much sense.

Hiding you feelings bye lying being that POPULAR girl

"you" should be "your", and "bye" should be "by". Apart from that, a comma after "lying" might give this line a better rhythm.

You where never the right child / Is what your mother said

Here "where" should be "were". This line also just doesn't feel quite right. Maybe change the word "Is" to "That's".

You wish you were dead / Your a gossiper a lier / You always almost cheat

"Your" should be "You're", and maybe put a comma after gossiper. "lier" should also be "liar". Also, I think you got your words mixed up in the last bit. Shouldn't that be "almost always", not "always almost"? :)

So way do you act that way

The first "way" should be "why", and a question mark would probably help make this line better too.

Cause I now who you are inside / You will go down or either break down some day

"now" should be "know". Also, just another little word mix-up - I think "either" should probably come after "will" to make this line flow better :)

So we know behind the lies and the smile you are really wild

I'm just adding this line because I really liked it, the way that "lies", "smile" and "wild" fit together almost lyrically. Really lovely :)

Finally, I'm not sure if it's just a personal choice (because I know some people don't use much punctuation in poetry), but a few full stops hear and there might help with the rhythm and really pulling the poem together.

Keep writing poetry! xx SilverLove

SCARY MUCH right here But you know under the fake smile and the perfect eyes
You cry inside
Hiding you feelings bye lying being that POPULAR girl

You father always beat you
You wish you were dead
Your a gossiper a lier
You always almost cheat
You are not perfect
So way do you act that way
All I am trying to say
Is that mean friends need friends inside
So don't try to hide

You may deem me romantic, my dear sister, but I bitterly feel the want of a friend.
