The Dry Spell

E - Everyone

A friend told me I should try writing again... Believe me if you will I did. I sat in front of my laptop for what seemed like a million hours writing a few lines and then erasing them again because they were not good enough. Write about what, the person who had fire passion of a feisty teenager who joined this forum is long gone. She is lost in the material world sucked in the cruel race for power position and money, yeah now she is the part of the world she hated. She is one of them.

So maybe its good that words don't come anymore.. Some things are lost forever, broken beyond repair.

Hi! Welcome back. You joined one day before my birthday. ;)

Just so you know, we do have a blog tab, where you can post a blog entry without losing points. For future reference. :)

I'll do my best to give you some advice...

So this is wow, pretty well written for a blog entry! You used some nice descriptive examples to show us what happened to you when you became an adult. xD

All I can say is: never give up on writing. Ever. I know that we all have those days and weeks and even months when writers block hits and doesn't go away, and the best way to make it go away is to just write. Forcing yourself to write is what breaks the block down and helps ease you back into writing.

Another thing you can do is join a site like tumblr or weheartit or Pinterest and start liking/hearting/reblogging images that inspire you. Chances are, you'll stumble across a plot bunny that you'll fall in love with and get the best novel idea since Harry Potter. :)

Or maybe you should join a roleplaying site and explore your roleplaying skills. Sometimes, writing with a partner is easier than writing by yourself.

Overall, it's up to you to conquer that beast that is writers block and slay it for good! It may bubble up from time to time, or life might get in the way, but do your best to beat it back down and get your life under control again. Just never give up on writing. Everyone needs an escape and maybe this is yours. :)

Hee hee

The title of this work sounds like a weather forecast. XD

'A friend told me I should try writing again... Believe me if you will I did.' They sound like a good friend, because you should never give up writing if you love it.
'So maybe its good that words don't come anymore.. Some things are lost forever, broken beyond repair.' However, your final point doesn't seem to compliment this idea.

Which is a little bit confusing. I don't know whether you're for or against writing or not. XD

Good work, just undefined

What really knocks me out is a book that, when you're all done reading it, you wish the author that wrote it was a terrific friend of yours and you could call him up on the phone whenever you felt like it. That doesn't happen much, though.
