To make them feel

I want to make people feel. I want them to laugh, to cry, to smile, to even be angered. I want to use words to describe something, to create an everlasting image of hope or despair. Where the hero can prevail in joyous victory but remember and grieve those who fought and lost their own battle for what they believed in, but I can't.

I can never find the words in the moment to show how heart breaking or wonderful that little piece of time is. That memory I want the characters and audience to remember and capture in their mind. I try but I lack at such things as they seem forever out of grasp, lost in my own mind's imagination. Buried under feelings I can never truly express.

Your urging words grabbed my attention. My curious mind in fact wants to explore something abstract or you may say it quite personal. however, it would be so nice of you, if i can get to know whether the whole write-up is intended to you yourself or it's jjust a ffew words for someone lurking behind the world of imagination.
Best of lluck, keep moving. Let this platform be enriched with a llot more of yyour works.

Hi Diap, sorry it took....over a month to reply. I'm here right now though, so I'll answer your question! This was mostly me talking about myself since I always feel like I'm handling the "moment" wrong. I feel like I'm either putting in too much or too little into it. So I made this thing to share that since I'm sure other people feel the same way. So that's my answer to your question and hopefully it's what you wanted. Have a wonderful day!

Hey there, PancakeandWaffle. Your username makes me feel really hungry. :p

I'm one of those people who actually pays attention to what category works are put in and whether they're poems or short stories or whatever else. So I was pretty interested to find an 'Other: general, general' in the Green Room and I had to read it! My opinion is that, if you wanted, you could definitely call this poetry. It's a beautiful piece of arty writing, and that's basically all poetry is.

...but remember in grief of those who fought and lost their own battle for what they believed in... The only nitpick I have is this phrase. My flow was destroyed when I got up to of which comes after grief. That extra word (of) just isn't necessary and the work would be better off without it.

For such a small piece, this is so incredibly relatable that it hurts! I have so many wonderful worlds all crammed in my mind, but lack the words to share them with others. But I desperately want to share them, and your piece captures these feelings perfectly. In fact, I'm sure everyone on this website would be able to relate to it.

The emotions are spot on, and your writing is great too. Simple but descriptive to get the point across. To conclude this short review... I loved it! Keep writing, Pancake. But me? Instead of writing I'll just be sitting in a corner thinking of pancakes and gooey waffles. :P

Thank you so much for reviewing! Also I was a little unsure about the grief part too, but I think you showed me the answer. Enjoy your comfy corner of imaginary pancakes and waffles

Heya, Pan! Your friend Casanova here for a review!
Aight- I do this a certain way. I start off with the good(if and, and in my opinion), then the bad(if any, and in my opinion), then I conclude! Haha! Let's get to it, shall we?
To the review!
Anyway- to start off. I noticed this was in the,"other," category," for some reason. I have no clue what,"other," is. But to me this seems like an acknowledgment of weakness? I could be wrong on that- but oh well. I think this would be amazing in poem format- but I love poetry so that should be taken with a grain of salt. Anyway- to the good!
Anyway- I have to say that I love the over all idea of this. It has emotion, passion, and portrays the truth. Which is always really good, really wonderful. I still have no clue /exactly/ what this is, but props for that, Pan!

In the beginning I really felt these lines:

" I want them to laugh, to cry, to smile, to even be angered. I want to use words to describe something, to create an everlasting image of hope or despair. Where the hero can prevail in joyous victory but remember in grief of those who fought and lost their own battle for what they believed in, but I can't."

You're not saying that you just want people to be happy- you want to feel as if you make people feel. As if you're the reason they do- even if it's in anger. I think feeling as if you don't do this is called being numb. It's a horrible feeling, I know.

Really- those were the best lines out of everything here. I loved them, I really did.
I would say something bad about this- but I have nothing bad to say. You hit every point on the head.
Thank you for sharing, Pan.
Keep on doing what you're doing and keep on keeping on.

Your friend- Matthew Casanova Aaron.

Aww~ thank you Cassie. I'm glad you enjoyed so much!

I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities.
