Half the Fun

Sooo I was singing in my shower and I came with these lyrics on my own.

I know the last verse and the bridge are cliche and lame, but I like them anyways :P

Verse One
Honey I see you and I
Eating off of paper plates
‘cause we’re both too lazy
To do the dishes

Verse Two
And honey I see you and I
Fighting over TV time
‘cause we’re both so eager
To play this new game

Chorus
And they’ll say
“You two are so young.”
And we’ll say
“That is half the fun”
Building this home together
On nothing more than
Young love

Verse Three
Oh honey I see you and I
Wrestling in bed at night
Under the covers
Just me and you

Bridge
Yeah honey I see you and I
Snuggled up all nice and tight
‘cause in your arms
I feel just right

Chorus

Aw.
It really does show young love perfectly. I can just imagine a trash can stacked high with cheese-crusted plates, and it sounds gross but it's just so true. The first verse is probably my favorite part of the song. The imagery is fantastic.
As for the rest of the song, it also provides me with a very sweet picture of this kind of relationship. Sagging couches, TV dinners... And the bridge is just the perfect last impression. Good job.

OMG lyke...soooo cute!

Yeah. Went there.

EDIT: I got points for that? That's just sad. Seriously, though, the lyrics are very cutesy and lighthearted--reflects young love very well, because often it's the little things that make a relationship fun. Sadly enough, it's often small things that break them. Nicely done ^_^

Ah, I can't believe no one critiqued this. It sounds good against Maroon 5, it was sweet and short and I liked it as well.
