You have curled inside you like a muffin,
Felt the breeze shiver you under the tree.
You'll see the hundreds of the steps on top,
You'll carry your bag and move ‘thob' ‘thob' ‘thob’

You look at their eyes on you,
Their voices chill you.
When you lay in your home,
Outside, you look, and watch the weather drop.

A dancer is you, who turn like that
with eyes so sharp and fierce.
You have seen me and I have seen you.
But running away is the way of life.

Can't the storm go still tonight?
Because won't you let the night steal you away?
Don't lie to me, I know you have seen.
Seen the shadows run and the frogs jump.

These things, we have seen.
You just tug your head so gently to hide
You slowly let it crawl to you,
Let it drizzle in your head.

The time has gone from 12 to 9,
I know you're there in your room, quietly.
You have been so quiet,
The talks don't even fill the tight heart.

It plays so subtly, listen, te-re-re
The day I saw you turn with a life,
I have always wanted to befriend you.
We get quiet on the same leaves and road.

The ties have got me tripped to the floor.
Where do the gaps go?
When you lightly look away,
So quietly, so naively.

We have seen this night together,
Please don't act like such a stranger.
We aren't very different.
We're the dreamers.
