This is a fanfiction about [i]Twisted[/] I DON'T OWN ANY OF THE CHARACTERS OR SHOW.
I swallowed down whatever was making my throat feel sick. It wasn't because of kissing Charlie. That was the good thing, wasn't it? I've moved on. I was getting to live my own life on my own terms and having him... it's like I am doing something so unexpected. Tyler was the biggest mistake of my life, and that wasn't a way to change myself or to rebel. Charlie is the one who I will change to the better with.

Yeah, Charlie.

Getting out of the bathroom, I ran a towel over my hair and then pulled it out, letting my hair fall back onto my back, the ends hitting it with a coat of water. I threw the towel on my bed and shut my eyes for a moment, letting my mind get silent for a moment.

"Jo," a male voice startled me.

I jumped, snapping my eyes wide open and saw Danny standing by the open window. A draft blew in which made me shake. Good thing I had some clothes on because I didn't need Danny to see me in a towel.

"What the hell are you doing here?" I whispered harshly, the words flying passed my teeth.

Anger rushed through my body as I looked at him. He had his hair let go and I could tell he was worn out, maybe he was running away from somewhere. Or running to somewhere. He ran his hands through his hair nervously as he licked his lips. I blinked, making myself stop thinking about the way he did so.

"Jo, I can't let you hate me." he sighed.

I huffed, crossing my arms over my chest. In the past, I had always believed him. But this time, I was certain what he was saying, doing, it was wrong.

"And why do you say that?"

He took a step toward me and I took a step back, wary of my footing.

"Charlie isn't who he says he is. Do you really know him? You don't." he tried.

"It's been a week since you spoke to me. What new information did you get to make him a bad guy?" I asked.

A breath escaped his mouth as he stared at me blankly, his eyes meeting mine. It made my arms tingle as I stared back. There was silence for that moment and I didn't know what to do. He had this thing about him that made you want him. You couldn't blame Lacey or I for falling for that.

"You don't have anything, do you?" I cut off the silence with a hiss.

"No, Jo..." I didn't let him finish.

"That's what I thought. Now leave!" I pointed toward the window.

He risked taking another step toward me, making our distance that much unbearable. But I didn't move away.

"I have proof Jo! I do! But I want to get you prepared to see it!" he said sternly.

"Prepared?" I scoffed. "For what? You think I can't handle it, Danny?" I hissed.

All he did is shake his head and pull out his phone. But then, he looked at it for a moment, than back at me. This made him slide the phone back into his pocket and just look at me. My heart was stammering and I couldn't breathe. He looked from my lips to my eyes, like last time, but now, I didn't do anything about it. Another risky step towards me and he had his hands behind my neck as we got closer, my lips tingling in anticipation of his.

"Lacey said there was something between us..."

I pushed his away, shaking my head violently. Tears were trying to break free form my eyes which caused my vision to be blurry. But, I still managed to look at him as a hurt expression lined his face.

"You're doing this because Lacey said so." I blurted out, helpless.

"No... no, Jo, I am not." he protested.

My tears broke out as my heart crashed. "Yes you are! Don't lie to me! You just think this is right because... because Lacey told you! Do you think you have feelings for me? Do you feel anything? Or are you just doing this cause you think it's right?!" I started to yell.

He shook his head, running his hands through his hair again. I could tell he was getting frustrated. But you couldn't do this to me, I have feelings and this hurts. How could he do this after I'm trying to get over him? It's so hard to get over someone. Especially if I was in love with him. He can't just say he wants me because Lacey told him so.

"Jo, I've thought about this... Oh just..." He started to say and then he looked at me. Something passed his eyes but I didn't know what it was.

But then, it all happened in such a quick time. He took me by the waist and closed the distance between us, his lips oh so close to mine. I felt his hands go around the back of my neck, his fingers skimming my skin, making it tingle. I held my breath as I looked into his pools of brown eyes. His lips met mine, making me forget what I was doing or what was going on.

They fit perfectly with mine.

He tasted so good.

I couldn't think straight.

My hands were playing with his hair as we made out. I was breathless. I felt flushed and so loved. He had his hands running down my back, hitting my waist, pulling me closer than I already was.

"Jo! Jo! Charlie is here!" my mother called up to me.

I pulled away from Danny, staring at him blankly. We were both out of breath, the distance between us weak, a mere inch. I still had my hands around his neck when I heard someone walking up the stairs. Danny didn't move.

"I can't believe I never knew how I felt about you." Danny whispered, surprised. "I was sure it was something if Lacey saw it and called me blind for it. And you felt it too. How was I so blind?" he was seriously surprised.

"So you only did this to see if Lacey was right?" I hissed, my heart burning.

"No! Not only... listen, Jo. I knew I had a real connection with you, and when I thought about it, it all made sense. For these past two weeks, I thought about it. And then it was all I could think about. Not because I was thinking about it, but because I wanted to think about you. It made sense at how jealous I got, or how protective I was. Oh God, Jo. I'm in love with you."

Danny was being honest. I could tell by the tone of his voice, his eyes, and his steadiness.

"Jo?" Charlie said from behind me.

I turned my head and saw him. He was holding a bouquet of roses. The expression on his face broke me completely. It was only sadness, but there was something else. Betrayal? Pulling away from Danny, I faced Charlie.

"Charlie," I sighed. "Hey,"

I felt someone wrap their fingers against mine, and it had to be Danny's. The thing was, I didn't even flinch.

"So," he looked at our hands. "You're cheating on me?" he pressed his lips together.

"No, I'm not." I pulled my hand away.

"Sure..." he sighed.

"I don't need you to be waltzing around here are ruining our lives, Charlie." Danny suddenly hissed.

Looking at him, I saw the anger shaping his face. It looked like he was going to rip Charlie's face in half. Charlie, he surprised me the most. He had this dread all over him. His shoulders were hunched and he dropped the roses.

"I told you to leave Jo and me alone," Charlie hissed.

"What?" I asked.

"I told you to leave Jo and Lacey alone. Did you?" Danny fought back.

"Danny, you better watch yourself..." Charlie started to smirk. "You're gonna get hit."

*jumps from tall building lands on face* ouch.. Hey there I'm here to give you a review!

Ok so my batman failure is over let's get into it :)

First off this is amazing, I loved it. Your grammar, spelling, and punctuation is great. The story it's self is great and I really liked it, after I said it a million more times. I like the way you write it's very good, I like the amount of detail you put into it. It's not to much and not to little. The way you make the characters alive is amazing.(I love that word) I didn't see anything you need to fix and that's awesome.

Keep writing and follow your dreams!
