Laid broken on the floor,

Everything I was,

Gone.

You walked away and I cannot breathe,

Your shadow looming over me wherever I go,

stopping me from living,

How can I live without you?

My love,

I see your footsteps everywhere I go,

I cannot escape you,

You left marks on everything of mine and all I can see is you.

How can I move on?

You are my life and without you I am lost.

Hey there, welcome to YWS :D
This is a really nice poem, short, but sweet :)

I really like the lines:
"I see your footsteps everywhere I go,
I cannot escape you"
As if the person is being haunted by his lost love. :)

I really don't have any thing bad to say, except that personally I like a good rhyme scheme :P
It also might be cleaner to break this up into multiple stanzas

Once again, great work, and keep writing!

Sunshine here to review...

I thought this was very good, in fact I love this. :) I'm guessing it's about someone in love with someone they can't be with anymore. It's sorta sweet and has a deep meaning. I don't have any nitpicks, but good job! :) I probably would have a better review than this, but I'm kind of currently in school, actually I'm in my study and with the classical music playing I can't read straight. But still, this is very good, I look forward to your future works :) keep on writing! :D

Quotegenworthy is a adjective which should be used on YWS way more.
