Laid broken on the floor,
Everything I was,
Gone.
You walked away and I cannot breathe,
Your shadow looming over me wherever I go,
stopping me from living,
How can I live without you?
My love,
I see your footsteps everywhere I go,
I cannot escape you,
You left marks on everything of mine and all I can see is you.
How can I move on?
You are my life and without you I am lost.

Hey there, welcome to YWS

This is a really nice poem, short, but sweet
I really like the lines:
"I see your footsteps everywhere I go,
I cannot escape you"
As if the person is being haunted by his lost love.
I really don't have any thing bad to say, except that personally I like a good rhyme scheme
It also might be cleaner to break this up into multiple stanzas
Once again, great work, and keep writing!

Sunshine here to review...
I'm guessing it's about someone in love with someone they can't be with anymore. It's sorta sweet and has a deep meaning. I don't have any nitpicks, but good job!
I probably would have a better review than this, but I'm kind of currently in school, actually I'm in my study and with the classical music playing I can't read straight. But still, this is very good, I look forward to your future works
keep on writing!
I thought this was very good, in fact I love this.
