Dearest death :)

Dearest death, you bring me comfort.
In all the ways I wouldn’t think true.
You tell me that, the pain won’t last.
Without strife, there wouldn’t be you.

When the world is tough, and things don’t go quite as planned.
You can live for something, when all is lost.
When every person, thought and dream, ends up shrivelled and broken.
You live for something and you live it well.

The end is far away, and dreaded by all that proceed it.
Some search it, some loath, some welcome it hand in hand.
But dearest death, I love you.
For you keep my troubles, only a grain of sand.

I found it from a while back, when things weren't going quite so well.
THe message of this poem is that things may not go well
but there is NOTHING worse than death/ or nothing as
good as death, depending on your perspective.
All things bad will get better and help you ;)
Oooh get me trying to be all deep xD
Come on, i wanna see all your critiques

This is a really good poem! :D

My favourite poem out of the ones you have done. :) Yet theres a two lines that sound a bit iffy :/

But dearest death, I love you.For you keep my troubles, only a grain of sand.

Only a grain of sand, sounds a bit Year 3-ish. You know Cat, Hat, Mat, Bat. (you get the picture :3).

Also each single stanza set is different from the next, which makes it difficult for the reader to read it out with expression, as this does confuse the mind in a deluded way. It's okay to do this with one or two stanzas, depending on the length of the poem, yet changing each stanza serperatly is a bad move.

Yet apart from this, you have delievered a brilliant poem, and I love the meaning behind it.

Spiffing job, old chap. :D

Your favourite review, and best friend, Parker :)
