You blame other's for the mistakes you did,
even though your own glass is covered by a lid.
You think you are the best,
but you are no better than the rest.
You think you are a pearl,
but you are a gift no one wants to unfurl.
You think you are going to become great,
but the way you are,
that won't be your fate.
You need to see the reflection of yourself,
because right now,
your character is smaller than an elf.

First up: this is a really great poem; I mean honestly, it is. There is one tiny thing that might work a little differently if it were changed.
I know that it rhymes with lid, but honestly, I think if you substitute the word "did" for "made" it might be a little easier on the tongue.
I love the poem though. Great work.
