My dearest ...
The light to my darkness
Do you even know me anymore?
Do I even know you anymore?
You left without a goodbye,
not a peep of your footsteps.
Leaving me to slip away quietly..
I'd wish you'd known all but knowing you?
After all times, you wouldn't care.
... oh ...
Was I that much of a burden..?
So bad you left me stranded?
Scarred..?
Every room, every crowd, every post I looked for you.
I still do,
but why would you like to know.
now, letting you go would the only option not for you, for me
"Fore its a weight, I couldn't shake." - My very first poem.

This is genuinly amazing. I felt the pain through the screen. I love your choice of vocabulary, and the tempo is just a.m.a.z.i.n.g. Love this, will wait for another post!

This reads like a quiet, personal letter that was never meant to be answered, and that vulnerability is what makes it effective. The repeated questions create a sense of confusion and longing, especially “Do you even know me anymore?” which feels like the emotional core of the piece. I can feel the abandonment in lines like “not a peep of your footsteps” and the way you search for them “in every room, every crowd, every post,” but some phrasing could be tightened to make the emotion hit more cleanly. For example, a few lines feel slightly repetitive or grammatically uneven, which can distract from the sincerity, so refining those would strengthen the overall flow. Still, the ending stands out because it shifts from longing to self-preservation, and that quiet decision to let go gives the poem a sense of closure.
Hello again! This particular work reminds of specifically of Olivia Rodrigo's songs (just so you know, I like her songs and mean well), especially the heartbreaking ones. This seems like the beginning of an end, of trying to figure out what went wrong, of loads of hurt and loss.

Like I always say, I've always liked your simplistic choice of words and self explanatory lines. That aside, I can see that the speaker here is going through something a lot of people go through after a breakup with someone they love, doesn't necessarily have to be a lover, could be a friend too. It seems like the speaker is wishing the subject would know what they're going through but then again wonder if they would care at all, which is just purely heartbreaking. The sudden change of events is well described here too, I like how you say "not a peep of your footsteps"— that is pretty clever writing in my opinion.
"Was I that much of a burden..?
So bad you left me stranded?
Scarred..?"
Aw man, the speaker is shifting the blame upon themselves...that's...upsetting but also relatable to a lot of people out there, hopefully the speaker realises it too. Abandonment is one hell of a pain.

There are slight punctuation and grammatical errors here from a technical standpoint but I'm not that skilled to guide you through each one of it, hope you get it. Other than that this seems like a very reasonable closing to the poem, I can sense the feeling of desperation to find the person the speaker adores everywhere followed by the repetitive sorrow of knowing the person still probably wouldn't care because they have moved on with their lives unlike the speaker here, and your signature closing line with a quote from your own poem is very interesting, are you perhaps trying to create a full circle moment here? However must it be, I hope you are doing well. Keep writing, keep creating
My first poem was about letting go and so did this one so I decided why not add that to show the start of the wanting to leave him to actually leave him and don't worry about the gammer cuz most of my poem are made VERY late at night
Ah I see, thanks for clarifying! ^^
