Hmm...Very interesting. This seems more like lyrics to a song not dramatic poetry, but if it was intended to be poetry then forget what I said.
I really like the way all this flowed. It had a very nice rhythm and the rhyming punctuated that rhythm. There was nothing forced about this. It was just smooth, which is very good.
I find this to be very emotional. I can feel the tension in areas and I can feel the loss of hope in others. I love the different feelings in this. It makes this a great poem.
I found there to be nothing really wrong with any of the stanzas so I'm just going to shut my mouth and leave that to other nit-picky people.

that was a really cool song!! i really liked it and I think you should write more because you have obvious talent at songwriting. It's funny because I could never, ever, think of a song like that. My talent is more in storywriting and I know that I couldn't do that. I wish I could. I hope to see more from you because I enjoyed reading that. Best to you!
