Broken record

And of course nothing else matters…

Building a lie after another, that is what it was all about. I turned into something I did not believe in. how long has it been? I wonder… I miss smiling with all my heart and soul. Flashing my teeth is just another daily habit, why I ask? Simply hiding what lies beneath the surface. It is but a fact that we can only see the tip of an iceberg. Unhealed wounds, that s what my one ninth isn’t showing.

Stunned by the turn of events I thought I recovered, It hit me right in the face when I least expected it. Took me by surprise, still I managed to keep that dashing smile of mine as I conversed. Alone I was again and I simply lost control. All that bottled up emotion just over flowed. I hated myself and for the first time I cried.

After that I managed to keep that role, the one of the girl next door.

I am that broken record that was never fixed.

Yeah, like armstronge said, I think you should put this into a poetic format with stanzas and lines and not just a paragraph. But this I truly enjoyed! It has great feeling and I loved it. Just some re-formatting(is that a word?!?!) would do the trick, I think. Well done and keep writing!

There's so much emotion in it! I love it! It's very touching alright. But you probably should cut the poem in to lines and stanzas because it's pretty hard to read when it's all a jumbo.

Other than that, it's great! I love this poem, tons of emotion and meaning in it! Keep writing and you'll get better! Great poem you have there!

Very touching. I loved it!

When your heart gets pierced with arrows, don't rip them out and pierce those around you in retribution for your hurt. You'll only unnecessarily wound others and bleed to death yourself.
