A Writer's Serendipity

PreviousNext

This isn't a poem, nor a story, its about a writer's serendipity, read it and relate to it...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A writer's serendipity: after thinking, we write, we're exploring the story we're writing. Suddenly, a new idea pops up, and changes the face of your story, giving you a little burst of happiness and life.
Hey, Redleaf! This short short piece is good in that the idea is clear and unspoiled, but you make a few mistakes here and there.
A writer's serendipity: we think then write,
You should have a comma after 'think'. Actually, I would change this a little bit more...
we think, then write
or
we think, and then write
or
after thinking, we write
Your word order should be clear and orderly to get the maximum use and the best quality out of every word.
we're exploring the story we're writing - then a new idea pops up,
The entire thing is one sentence, so I suggest you cut it up a bit. For this place, you can cut it right where you put that hyphen.
we're exploring the story we're writing. Suddenly, a new idea pops up,
and changes the face of your story, giving you a little burst of happiness and life.
This part is great! Don't change it and it'l go along with the rest of the piece fine.
Overall, you did well, got your idea across and all. However, it's rather short.
A woman knows the face of the man she loves as a sailor knows the open sea.
