Time

PreviousNext
"Look how old you are! Where does time go?" Says a old lady to you. Sounds so cliche. Doesn't it? But don't you ever stop to wonder, where DOES time go? Where does it actually go when it is through with us. These past couple of minutes I spent writing this. Those minutes are banished from my life. I will never get them back! So again I ask, "Where DOES time go?" I imagine what it is like to live in a place where there is no time. That is when I realize, the place is our afterlife, our hope, it is Heaven. Heaven is the place where you will never hear clocks ticking. No such thing as 'wasted time.' The possibilities are endless! The sun will never go down and whisper to us, "Time is up for today." Time is so underestimated, yet so powerful. Time is mistreated, wasted, and squandered. I wish I could take back the time I..., but no. That is too much wishful thinking. You will NEVER get that moment back. Ever. Is lost somewhere around the vicinity of our brains? Or is it locked down deep inside our hearts. Where does time go?

Misspurplegirl,

Maybe this isn't supposed to be under the "poem" category because it sort of looks like a Article. But its a nice little piece. Their full of questions and make us rewind the thought of the question "Where does time go?" and actually, for a second or two, we think about it. I think you bought that out nicely.

I thought you kept repeating some circumstances again and again, which was kind of a little cliche. Because now that we know it, its time to go on to the next. And I guess VeerenVKS has already spotted down the nitpicks for you. ^^

From what I've noticed, I think you'll be good at writing Public Speaking Speeches. I love the fact how you get the meaning across which is very important for a speech. So, well done!

Keep Writing! ~

While this is a nice piece, I'm not sure why it's classified under poetry. I guess you could say it has a 'poetic feel', but it's not real a straightforward poem.

That being said, I do have to say this does give you something nice to think about after reading it.
I think for the first time, I'm going to make corrections in my review, just to help you out with future writing.

That's the best I could do.
Good work other wise, and good luck with your writing.
