What Do You Do?

How do you confess to loving someone? Lies that never should have been told already have been released into the world. Words have been said that can not be taken back. You know there is no point but still, the need arises. Hiding in the shadows seems to be the only escape, but that is because you know no other way. The one you love is in love with another. What, oh what, do you do?

So this is poetry, so I wouldn't have it be a paragraph.
"How do you confess to loving someone?()
Lies that never should have been told already have been released into the world.()
Words have been said that can not be taken back.()
You know there is no point but still, the need arises.()
Hiding in the shadows seems to be the only escape,()
but that is because you know no other way.()
The one you love is in love with another.(That is a little to straight forward) ()
What, oh what, do you do?"

This poem has meaning but I just didn't get into it. It was to straight forward so there was no guessing, that is why I like poetry, there is mystery as to what the author means, this poem had no mystery. Now dont make it impossible to understand but the second to last line kind of popped my ballon. It really is a good poem and I like how you wrote it but the mysterious part just took me back. I hope this helps. :)
