Mightier than the Sword
By MightierThanTheSword (a.k.a: Arianna)
A scratch,
A slice,
A death with a two worded epitaph.
“He died.”
Gone, deceased, lost from the world
He was meant to conquer and rule
And win.
The assassin sharpens her sword,
Her weapon,
Her pencil.
She blows at the blade,
Scattering dust upon the ashes of her
Hero;
A hero loved by all, adored by all
Believed in by all.
Blotted out,
Destroyed,
Drowning in a leady, and then inky,
Demise.
Oh the cruel hands that gave him life!
Shaped him, created him,
And then took him away,
Like a whisper on the wind.
The writer stands hated, loathed,
Evil by her deeds.
But only for a moment.
For they know,
And she knows,
That every death creates a scar,
Every fatality leaves her empty,
And while the world reads on,
Sadly but surely,
The author weeps.

A very interesting concept; I like your style.
