Its always the days that go astray
That are days you awake feeling great
You awake feeling nice and strong
There soon after things begin to go wrong
You stay as skies go from sunny to gray
All while you watch your happiness run away

Hey it's Jaylin here to leave a quick review. I really enjoyed reading this poem. It was simplistic yet beautiful and relate-able (at least for me). Too often I have a day that I start off feeling on top of the universe then randomly something knocks me off. I think my only "complaint" is that it was so short lol. Overall this is beautiful, I wouldn't change anything. Also I see that you are new. Welcome to Young Writers Society! I can't wait to read more poems from you.
(Sorry if this review is kinda messy, it's very early here.)
Radrook here a once again to offer some suggestions.

Apologies if i offend. It isn’t my intention.
Please feel full free to cast aside all things you deem not helpful.
But if you do be sure its true by being extra careful.
That having been said:
Thanks for sharing this poem which states that the days we awaken feeling great are the ones that seem to hold the most dismal experiences. I personally find this scenario kind of comical in a way.
It's as if someone is setting the person up just to trip him later.
Seems to suggest that feeling like shite when one awakens then we should expert a wonderful rest of the day. So maybe we should make certain that we wake up feeling miserable to assure a better experience? Otherwise we are in for some serious misery. I mean, that's one way we might try fighting back-no? I mean, if awakening awful and weak is the solution why not try it? LOL!
That's just my reaction and I'm sure that most readers will not find humor in the poem.
Suggestions
The rhyming scheme holds true but the meter wanders. By meter I mean the beats per line.
The first line establishes a three beat meter. The reader expects the rest of the lines of the lines to follow that lead.
Tellng us how the days are going astray in this case would be interesting
Its always [it’s]
Try not to repeat same words:
days days [Repeated too close together. The word “times” can be used.]
awake awake [word repetition]
rhythm [bada boom] [bada boom] [bada boom] = Three beats.
Looking forward to reading more of your work.
BTW
Thanks for the chuckle!
Please feel free to ignore my advice it is not meant to offend you or hurt you, or make this story seem bad or demean it regardless of what I have previously stated brace yourself for impact. That said . . .
1. What I liked
I think this poem was very lyrical it was beutifull reading this.
2. Punctuation & Grammar
This is purely my opinion and I am aware that this is a style of poetry-Maybe you should try adding commas and periods, it might help. It might not. Feel free to leave those out.
3. Word usage & Style
Your style I think was wonderous, but maybe it was just that. One thing was missing I think. You missed capturing the feeling of a bad day. Maybe try adding a stanza about that?
4. Encouragment
Keep on writing! This was simply beautiful . . .pure perfect poetry. Keep up the good work.
5. Overall
In the end I think I enjoyed this. It was marvelous. Though I did miss the feeling that comes with having a bad day. But this poem doesn't need it, and feel free to leave as is.
Hey!
I love the simplicity of this poem and it's general message! Quite often the days I think will be fantastic are the days that kick my butt. I think in the second line the word the should be after the word are, as it is the line is a tad bit confusing. I would take away the word there in the fourth line; it makes the line a little too wordy and isn't needed. The last two lines are perfection! Everything in this review is purely opinion, and if you feel the need to keep the poem as is, it'll be just as great!
Thanks for the read,
Rascalover
Thank you so much for the review! Its been a few years since i last wrote any poetry and mainly have been focusing on my novel. I came up with this on a whim as i had a bit of a horrid morning. It really has made my day knowing someone has enjoyed it.
