Fight
To this life I was born
Unaware of what to come
Eyes so wide, searching a flaw
Misery had not yet, lined these walls
And I hope...I'll be alright
Just stay strong..through this old fight
And I wonder as I'm falling forward
Where do all the good hearts go?
Pain tastes like mornings
Rising with a missing soul
Anger sounds so tuneful
Singing all alone
And I hope...that you're alright
You stayed strong..but lost this fight
Yet I've kept so many dreams for us
Not lost yet...lingering in my heart
Lingering in my heart
As your soul slips away...from our grasp...
I wrote this song about my sister and how I was feeling at that precise time. She died a couple of months ago and I just find it so therapeutic sing and write songs about how I feel. This ones not really my favourite, it just kind of shows a little part of what I'm feeling about the whole situation. It's fairly short but once you've heard it with the guitar and strings its alot longer than you'd reckon..Let me know what you guys think...ANY feedback is awesome.
Take it easy folks

Wow, that is really sad. I really like it.
I find that songs are so much better when the lyrics mean something to the writer.
I also like the fact that it's kind of mysterious and not too specific, that way many people can relate to it.
It's like you're letting people have their own interpretation, even though to you it is really personal.
Great job, keep writing.
