Part 7 of Shadow Kissed. Enjoy and comment.

Nanali squeezed her body through the hole and was instantly face to face with a army of guards and their guard dogs.
"Halt," the one in the front screamed," we have you surrounded." Nanali rolled her eyes and conjured up a mini tornado in the palm of her right hand.
"I don't want to have to hurt you," she said with a tone in her voice that seemed to be pushing a bit between mocking and amused," but I might have to if you stay in my way. So it's best for you to just move before I get really angry." Angry, something else she could feel. Nanali smiled at her new found emotion, the arrangement of muscles felt strange and alien on her face so she quickly dropped in into a frown. Something familiar, native, and natural. Nanali took a step forward and heard the sound of a thousand guns snapping back, ready to fire. Another smile played on her lips, one of sick humor.
"If you take one more step we're going to be forced to take immediate action!" The man in the front spoke up again. He was clad in a grey suit with all sorts of sashes and belts, he looked like a military man. It was then that Nanali realized she had nothing on, her gown lay on the floor back in the padded room. She put up a invisibility cloaked, thick, earth and ice shield around her body.
Let's see those bullets break through this, she thought harshly. Before cocking her head to the side, allowing that mocking smile to dance on her lips again.
"You wouldn't shoot little old defenseless me. Would you?" She let the tornado spin out and held her hands up like she saw the people do on those cop shows. The man in front let out a shaking laugh that didn't really cover up how afraid he actually was.
"Don't play innocent with us missy! We know what you can do! No defenseless person could be able to function with that huge hole in their chest, or without a heart, like you are now! You're something special, and I would hate to put you to rest. So just turn around and go back in that there room until we can find new living arrangements for you."
A hysterical laugh burst from Nanali's lips. She threw her head back and clutched her stomach.
"You put me to rest! Ha! You must not know who you're dealing with." She walked forward and was instantly met by a wave of bullets. Every single one of them bounced off her shield.

Hi! You really need to post more at time, so people have more to review.
Without a heart, would she be able to feel anger? Anger's a really personal, irrational emotion - just like love in some ways. I think cold, cruel logic would fit better.
That's all for this chapter, really. Keep writing!
