Okay part four here! This is just really a set up for whats going to happen in part four. I've changed the direction of this story. Originally she was going to a boarding school but now

As Nanali grew older she also grew more reluctant to embrace the magic within her. Filled with the morals and beliefs of humans, "Magic doesn't exist," "There are no such things as monsters," and, "People can't talk to animals," Nanali rejected the memories, putting them off as strange dreams, and thought her bond with animals a coincidence. The hatred for her parents steadily grew inside her and, at some times, caused her to lash out at the one person she did love, Racheal. She kept her strange conversations with her pets secret and her memories from her childhood days underwater.
Her powers forced her into the shadows of school life, she made it through the years with only two true friends, Summer and Scyzer, up until 9th grade where they caught a glimpse of her ears and tail and fled.
No matter how hard she tried she couldn't stop the memories that invaded her mind or restrain herself from knowing of spells, chants, and the powers she has always had. Torn between the mortal realm and the world of the gods, Nanali was going insane, fearing that she was the only one that had these problems. Afraid that there was no one to help her find the truth. She lived in fear and speculation until, one day, she cracked.

That's all for now. I know it's short, but like I said, it's just setting you up for part four, which will be coming out soon because it's already written.
Well, that's all, bye-bye!

Hey! No reviews, huh? Well, I'm here to fix that. ^^
This is a very interesting concept you have here. I've always loved animal stories, and so I think the idea of talking to pets and stuff is great. There's one thing you need to fix, though, and that is the problem of telling vs. showing.
For a quick review, the difference between telling and showing is that when you tell something, you just say it: "She was sad." When you show something, we actually see it happening: "She kept herself locked in her room and tears slid down her face." Showing is much more vivid and accessible. Telling can be used, of course, but only in careful amounts, and this piece is nothing but.
So show Nanali doing these things. Show her struggling through school. Show her hurting the person she loves. Show her with her two friends, Summer and Scyzer, and describe the day they fled from her. Your story will be longer, and it'll hit closer to home.
Keep writing!
