Red & Blue
Red dress,
Blue tie,
tears in their eyes.
Dancing away to music,
they look around to see,
red dresses and blue ties.
Red and blue together makes purple,
something everyone knows.
Purple seems to be a recurring theme.
No girl is allowed to be anything but, red.
No boy shall be anything but, blue.
Why are these colors presented in such a way,
and never to be tampered with.
I say we need a revolution!
We should add yellow to our pallets,
Because a world without color
is a world that shall not be.
P.S. please do not judge my poem so harshly, I'm only thirteen!

I love it. This is an amazing poem that is very true that anyone in the Trans community would love. I think you did great on this poem. There really isn't anything that I could find that was wrong. The title goes with the poem. It flows really well together and I can tell that this must be important to you in some way. Keep up the good work.
Hey there. I'm Jonathan, here to review your poem. Before we get started, a sentence of two of introduction-- I'm a trans person and I very much appreciate your effort to stand by our community as an ally. If I come across as too harsh in this review, please understand that it doesn't mean that I think of this piece as any less.
I'll give you some suggestions which I would give to any poem, regardless of meaning, including some larger ideas about your themes and message.
Let's choose a few lines to talk about.
"Red and blue together makes purple," ~ You never mention this again, and it actually seems more like it fits into your idea of a revolution than the status quo.
"No girl is allowed to be anything but, red. / No boy shall be anything but, blue." This is interesting and potentially the foundation for a larger theme, but it doesn't specifically have to do with being trans-- rather, more with gender stereotypes. I get what you were trying to say, but it doesn't come across as that at all. I think the confusing bit here is that the "red" and "blue" are types of gendered clothing, which dilutes your message into one about gender stereotypes.
"We should add yellow to our pallets," ~ For the larger themes: you seem to be talking about binary trans people before this, but suddenly you veer off into another message about nonbinary people. This confuses me.
"Because a world without color / is a world that shall not be." ~ A nice sentiment, but not one consistent with the rest of your poem. Red and blue are colors too, yes?
Also, one quick note about terminology. Not sure if this was a typo, but in your description for this work, you wrote "This is my poem about Transgender." I think you meant "transgender people". Transgender is not a noun in itself-- it describes a person/people.
Let me know if you have any questions. That was a strong first attempt, and I admire your work. Keep writing.
Jonathan
Red dress and Blue tie..
I wore a red dress with a blue tie..
I see people with red dress and people with blue tie...
But none with a red dress and a blue tie...
They insist me to wear either a red dress or a blue tie..
and not a red dress with a blue tie..
Even if I wish I could wear a red dress or a blue tie..
It feels like, I am more natural and much prettier in a red dress with a blue tie
I tried to wear a red dress , without a blue tie..
I felt as if I miss something that belongs to me..that made me.."Me"..
I tried to wear a blue tie , without a red dress...
but felt the same..
I am all tears and worried why people never understood...
red dresses matched blue ties..
may be they never know how it feels to miss a part of ones IDENTITY and still appear as if ones soul is INTACT, while it had been ripped apart...
My Red dress reflected my flesh and blood..
while my blue tie reflected my soul...
It's not fair to leave one behind..
They are supposed to be together until they say you died..
I want to live and not die..
I want to live the way I am meant to be....
I want to live the way I am supposed to be...
I want to live the way I love to be...
I want to live and not die..
I don't judge you and you don't judge me...
After all we are a part of the nature.. and this is our very nature to be the way we are meant to be...
I don't judge you and you don't judge me..
I love to wear my red dress with a blue tie...
coz I want to live my life and don't want to die...
Awesome try..keep it up..u inspired me
This is dedicated to all those SPECIAL PEOPLE who try every day to LIVE and not DIE....

Thank you
Hello there!
I would say that you got a good poem there. You depicted the situation of the society in a well understood manner. I am completely delighted to how you project the rights of a transgender but there is a slight vagueness about the violet portion and the no color part. It just need a little polishing but it's a job well done! I am looking forward for your poems.
