I sink into my sheets at night
In my silent shadowed room
Another day completed
Left with lonely thoughts of you
I picture you, you’re playing
Fingers grazing a guitar
I imagine that you’re gazing
Out you’re window at a star
I’m pretending that the same
Star sits just above my bed
And that the music you are making
Is the music in my head
I'm forgetting troubled distance
Leaving distance to daylight
Your music fills the silence
I've a star on shadowed nights.

hey, I did like this although bits were a teeny tiny bit cliche. Overall really nice though, I particularly liked the end.
Whoa....I liked this poem. It captured my attention, and kept it until the end. Not many poems do that for me. Good job.
